That's the conclusion I have come to as well.

But if they are going to have a preferences click on, you would think when you click on it should work, and if you have to close your adblocker for it to work they should tell you when you click on.

It all seems a bit underhand to me.
We haven't changed anything around the way this works from what we inherited from Haymarket, apart from to remove it from being served through a tag manager and put the call into the code base on the page - so nothing underhand from our side - we need this to work on all pages so will work on fixes for this so it always shows and works.
That's good to hear, I await with baited breath smile

The infinite loop is still there hammering away.
can you share more details on how one can reproduce/track that one down?
I think this thread has a full description of the problem. nerd

I found it by Googling .... wink

Just pause a debugger after the page has loaded, odds are you'd hit it first time.

Today we have released some more updates:
- image upload size in the classifieds to 50mb
- remove scripts that do infinite loops

Anyone spot any issues or other stuff then just yell.

I'm still using Brave, but I'm getting this quite a lot. I guess the page has a permanent advert space coded in, but it doesn't work.

Edit. Can't upload an image.

We are looking into the upload image issue, some paging issues and the login link missing from the header on some pages.

Hopefully have a fix out by lunch

The issue I was referring to is an "ad" box halfway down the page, on the right, and the text of whichever forum post is at that position doesn't wrap or justify, it just disappears behind the ad box.

Hello,

When I go into the classified ads, I can get the first page of ads for a specific model, but can't get to the next page, or change any search criteria. The new page starts to display, but only shows the loading icon. I can leave the page loading for half an hour, and it still doesn't load.

Daniel
ETA: I'm not running an adblocker.

I see your problem - have a look at the Scotland section, BMW thread - the text just vanishes behind the middle page advert.

I have a screengrab, but the Image upload isnt..

Image upload, paging on My Stuff, Login is all back working - but the infinite loop is back while we try and untangle the code around this.

Thank you Racing Pete and any others working on this.

Yes, that text is wrapping correctly now! - it wasn't earlier this morning, I promise!

(and the Upload an image link still states 2MB)

The increase on image upload size was on classifieds only for now...

Hopefully, it'll stay that way. Huge images are a PITA on the forum.

I see, actually we've increased the upload size but we still process to image to an optimal size so they are not huge when people are viewing the advert... the goal was to enable people to create adverts from their phones without the hassle of dealing with big images captured by the phone's camera...
