Nothing to say other than to agree with the clean sheet suggestion putting what's behind us genuinely behind us.

Glad to see some reactions to suggestions, very positive. thumbup

Hello,

When I go into the classified ads, I can get the first page of ads for a specific model, but can't get to the next page, or change any search criteria. The new page starts to display, but only shows the loading icon. I can leave the page loading for half an hour, and it still doesn't load.

Daniel
ETA: I'm not running an adblocker.
If you're on Brave, it's that. I have to open subsequent pages in a new tab. Bit of a pain but I can deal with it.
I'm not, and I can't change the search criteria because as soon as I do, I just get the loading symbol, forever. No chance to open a new tab because the page starts to update before I do anything else.
Good luck trying to sell or buy a car.

ETA also the "deselect all" box doesn't do anything.

Hi Racing Pete et al,

Thank you for your work so far!

Question. There is an advert that gets placed under the url, above the PistonHeads logo. This advert is sometimes there, sometimes not. When it is there, the page loads a small space for the advert, then the advert appears and pushes the page down. When it is not there the page creates a small space for it, then pushes everything down so that the advert can fit, then realizes there is no advert, then collapses the gap back to the small space again.

The number of times I have clicked on the thread above or below the one I am aiming for is getting a tad bothersome.

Herewith the advert in question.

It does the same for the advert with a big e in it, etc.

(Random note, do not bother advertising for me to sell my car on here for £11.99, the car is not worth £11.99, so I would make a loss!)

Nothing real to add other than the fact the site looks a lot cleaner (without the horrendous ads at the bottom) and is usable on mobile now as well.

Whatever order you put the 1's and 0's in seems to have helped things.

Cheers.

We are reviewing all display ads across the site at the moment, especially those that cause usability issues such as this. It will take a little while to go through due to transitioning away from Haymarket's ad server as part of the process.

Hugely appreciated, THANK YOU!

Though not a computer person myself, I understand this is not an easy job!

It's not getting any better for me. It's a real pain on my iPhone and even occasionally on my iMac.

Shouldn't take this long to resolve should it?

Seems like the site is working much better now.

I’m not experiencing any of the slow downs on my phone and iPad that were there before. Well done everyone.

Adds displaying for me, top, middle and bottom.

Now that you mention it, it is rendering the correct size on the first load, which is brilliant, thank you!
