Hi Stuart.

Yep, A replacement for the TVR. Getting older and soft!

Make me a sensible offer for the TVR and it could be yours........ it’s not as if you haven’t got enough already. wink
My offer - 'Get Brexit done in 6-months' biglaugh

The other thread has been locked.

However it does appear:
- a) A change now means if an image is too large rather than tell you it too large, gives the no-image error as per the above screenshots.
- b) Pistonheads appear to have no intention to do anything to make uploading images any less painful then manually resizing and uploading them one at a time.

A lot of phones do not give the option to resize, however one work around is to take a screenshot of the image, which often decreased the size sufficiently.

Photo uploads only work for me from my iPhone if I crop the image using the photo edit function. Just crop a little bit in height and it works a treat.

It’s the function pointed at here.

Taking a screenshot of the image also works, to reduce the size, and re-write the exif data so the forum can handle the 21st century.

What has changed?

I could load up any picture from my iPhone or iPad or Apple computer before and now it’s potluck or have to resize the pictures.

There's been enough threads on Thumbsnap problems so used this one rather than open another.
I am now getting "I frame loading" straight after clicking "upload an image" on the mobile ,working ok on laptop .
It's not just me either as a friend has reported same.
I don't have a clue what an I frame is.

Thanks in advance for a fix.

Fix? Replace the sorded messy with something for for the decade!

Something which can upload multiple images at once.

Something which can resize as be image that is larger.

Maybe?

Please?

I'm now starting to wonder if it's Apple playing tricks with older iPads in order to get us to buy new ones.

Very likely, mine is four years old now, Apple must reckon its time to replace.

I have the same iFrame message when I try to upload an image.

Q. Is it because I'm on IE11 and someone has silently removed support for it?

A. Yes, it is. Works OK from Chrome.

I get that IE is getting on a bit, but most other sites that stop supporting it do at least say so.
