Jumping to end of thread
Discussion
Using 1st generation iPhone SE and Safari (iOS 13.6.1)
If I click on a thread from ‘My Stuff’, it still doesn’t take me down to the first post on the thread below the ‘Last Visit’ red marker point so still have to scroll down a lot to find the first unread post within the thread.
I logged out and back in to see if this helped after the system refreshes...

For some reasons, upon clicking on threads I'm being directed to page 1. On ALL threads. Only just started doing this.
Yep same for me.Brave on Samsung

What's the logic on mobile?
Agree with above, doesn't seem to jump to new posts on either mobile or desktop any more.
Looks like you've removed the #seperator anchor entirely.
The logic for mobile users is you'll land on page 1 when navigating via the thread listings pages. If you navigate via My Stuff then it will take you to the most recent post.Agree with above, doesn't seem to jump to new posts on either mobile or desktop any more.

Desktop hasn't changed.
Doesn’t really help sorry. Just because I haven’t posted on something doesn’t mean I always want to go to the start of the thread.
The logic should be:
If user has read or posted on thread, go to “new posts” point
If not, go to first post
I guess storing a read / not read status for every post for every user is pretty onerous though.

Starting on page 1 for a thread you've already read is so anyoying.
A related issue is that there are no buttons to skip to the first or last page so you end up on page one then have to manually type in the last page of the thread which is frankly ridiculous.
Please please at least add the skip to last page / first page buttons to mobile. Add in the next and previous buttons while your at it

I thought this was what you wanted. The logic should be:

On desktop we have a UI elements to allow you to click the title (goes to page 1), a page number (goes to that page), or a little end icon that takes you to the last page since your most recent activity (which frankly doesn't work well).
The previous logic (as of this beginning of this week) was that you always went to the end of the topic, which is what started this thread. Since the mobile site doesn't have those UI elements to allow you to choose where to go, it makes sense to go to the first page as otherwise you'll always be going to the end of topics you haven't read before.
Since we know you've read topics in My Stuff we can default you to where we think you were last time, so links there continue to use that funky algorithm. I've also added the #seperator link to the My Stuff links so that should improve that experience.
We don't have the concept of "you've read this thread, but not this other thread" it's just simply "your last action on site was at 10am" so what you're asking for isn't technically possible with how the forums is currently built.
Works great on mobile, can the #seperator link go onto the last post link in Desktop My Stuff?
i.e. on the "2" on this snippet:
That would then mean
On mobile, My Stuff title goes to last read indicator - great
On desktop, My Stuff final page link goes to last read indicator - great
On mobile, normal listing goes to first page - great
On desktop, normal listing title goes to first page - great
On desktop, normal listing last page number goes to last read indicator - great
(I do realise it's not all about me, of course )
