Jumping to end of thread

Using 1st generation iPhone SE and Safari (iOS 13.6.1)
If I click on a thread from ‘My Stuff’, it still doesn’t take me down to the first post on the thread below the ‘Last Visit’ red marker point so still have to scroll down a lot to find the first unread post within the thread.
I logged out and back in to see if this helped after the system refreshes...
Seems to be working for me now...this will make browsing on here so stress free now.If I click on a thread from ‘My Stuff’, it still doesn’t take me down to the first post on the thread below the ‘Last Visit’ red marker point so still have to scroll down a lot to find the first unread post within the thread.

I thought this was what you wanted.
On desktop we have a UI elements to allow you to click the title (goes to page 1), a page number (goes to that page), or a little end icon that takes you to the last page since your most recent activity (which frankly doesn't work well).
The previous logic (as of this beginning of this week) was that you always went to the end of the topic, which is what started this thread. Since the mobile site doesn't have those UI elements to allow you to choose where to go, it makes sense to go to the first page as otherwise you'll always be going to the end of topics you haven't read before.
Since we know you've read topics in My Stuff we can default you to where we think you were last time, so links there continue to use that funky algorithm. I've also added the #seperator link to the My Stuff links so that should improve that experience.
We don't have the concept of "you've read this thread, but not this other thread" it's just simply "your last action on site was at 10am" so what you're asking for isn't technically possible with how the forums is currently built.
I don't like the new way either, sorry. It's not the end of the world because on mobile (G8 on brave) tapping the last page number (as in page [1] of 3) takes you to page 3 but it is a change so irritating. On desktop we have a UI elements to allow you to click the title (goes to page 1), a page number (goes to that page), or a little end icon that takes you to the last page since your most recent activity (which frankly doesn't work well).

When I visit threads via the "what's new" tab on my mobile, I always end up on page 1 despite having read them previously. I then have to go to the last page, and work back through the pages until I have found the last post I read.
Surely this isn't doesn't fit the "logic" that was intended?

This is happening for me too and only started a couple of days ago.
I assume connected but in My Stuff (I never look in there normally as simply navigate via each forum > topic) it doesn’t have a correct log of ANY of my recently read threads. In fact two of them I must have last read several years ago and never seen since.
Clicking on a thread in My Stuff I do go to a later page, not always exactly where I finished off but not page 1. But that’s only showing 4 threads (inc the 2 ancient unlooked at ones) so not much help!
Any thread I have read, when I click it I just go straight to page 1.
Normally, I go via forum main page, into the subforum then the topic. Any with new posts are generally in bold blue and clicking takes me roughly to last visit. This no longer works.
OS14.2 safari on iPhone 11 if it matters.

It is a actually a great improvement, as when on mobile there is a route to the last page by tapping the page number.
Thanks Matt.
I’ll be along to complain about something else soon
I had no idea the last page number is we clickable! Thanks for this, it's now tolerable to use. Thanks Matt.

It really should remember what you last visited and take you to the right page though.

Yep.Surely this isn't doesn't fit the "logic" that was intended?
And now my stuff takes me to an indeterminate point "last visit" that isn't where I was in the thread, but I can't figure out exactly when it was IYSWIM.

This is driving me mad! Everything now jumps to page 1 and I can't remember where I was on the various threads I regularly read. Surely this isn't doesn't fit the "logic" that was intended?
