No YouTube links???

I see there has been a mod edit to remove a YouTube link from my post in my Readers Cars thread.

Since when has this been the case that they are not aloud? Seems somewhat petty if they are not allowed now.

"Do not create threads/posts about your own personal websites, blogs, social media channels or video hosting sites such as YouTube. This will be deemed as advertising and/or endeavouring to drive traffic to external sites from PistonHeads."

It would have been routinely removed.

That doesn't say "No Youtube links" though. It says something very much more specific. It doesn't even say "no links to your own youtube videos", it's more specific even than that.

Also, get the whole of point 12 proofread properly. It's in a whole mess of different tenses. You can't have a list of types of post that are not allowed, and then have some of them start "Do not". If it's a "Do not", it should be a separately numbered rule.
