Why did they come?
Because they could!
Why did they stay?
Because they could feel superior, they could say what they like, unchecked!
Why are they tolerated?
Because their posts attract advertising revenue for the car sales site which PH now is.
What happened to the social events?
Some were poorly attended by long-term members for fear the new generation would be there.
Some were stopped by their hosts because many of the new generation had attended them.

PH, as it was, has gone and will never return.

Best bet to avoid the new generation is be selective about which fora you subscribe to!

Blimey, theres some history there......some quality posters that have moved on.......

PH is still a decent and busy fora, but my god its become aggressive and point scoring.

royally screwed up today.....

I got my first thread ban, as I posted a link that I thought stated something, and it came to light it wasnt what i saw, or if it was it wasnt later.
