FFS It's back !!! macOS Monterey Version 12.01

I'm afraid at the moment there's nothing further we can do at PH – the issue is down to your cookies not being set or read properly from Quantcast. This is an issue with the CMP on your device and not an issue with PH.
I've created a Wiki that will hopefully be helpful for those that have issues that you can see here https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...
We appreciate it's incredibly frustrating but this is not an isolated issue just on PH. Please use the tips in the Wiki linked above and if you find any other solutions to stop this from happening, please add to the Wiki or this thread and I can update it.

Same here - every time you scroll down up pops the Privacy Policy.
Tried in Safari and 'removed all' as instructed and no difference whatsoever.
Restarted - no difference
Chrome is EXACTLY the same.
And stop blaming GDPR - every other forum I use doesn't have this problem.
Your loosing readers/viewers and contributors so as numbers drop your ad revenue will fall.

How can it be a PH problem if it doesn't affect everybody at the same time? Tried in Safari and 'removed all' as instructed and no difference whatsoever.

Can i suggest you log on with a different device and on a different router somewhere (work, cafe, friends house) and see what happens?

How can it not be a PH problem given this is the only site it repeatedly works / doesn’t work / repeat ad nauseum for the same user on the same device with the same browser? It’s *obviously* an implementation issue.bigandclever said:

You seem to have a problem that you need to sort
There's no rhyme nor reason to the problem. One week it's there, the next it's not. It seems no one has an answer and it's bloody infuriating. Have you got the same problem dicky ?I'm convinced it's not a PH problem but down to individual devices. My suggestion is to log on to PH from a friends or works PC and see what happens.

Fair comment but as others have mentioned this is the only site it happens on, so using basic IT principals you'd have to look at the common factor. There's clearly something unusual about the way PH is interacting with devices and it's definitely cookie related (it cleared for me after cleaning cookies - until next time).Gassing Station | Website Feedback | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
