Issues with Chrome - can't use back button.

Hi all,

Bit of a strange one, started a week or so ago? I'm unable to use the 'back' button to exit a thread I have read but don't want to comment on. Instead I have to go via any link (My Stuff, General Gassing etc) - always moving forwards. I'm running Chrome 86.0.4240.111.

It's enough to put me back to Brave....

I'm also on Chrome 86 and the back button works fine.

Anyone else having this?

Strange - the back button just worked with this thread. Let me have a play with other threads / sizes, clearing cache etc.

OK, I have been able to replicate it. On the Supercars spotted thread, I have seen the last car (765LT), hit back and nothing.

Cleared cache. Restarted Chrome.

Still same issue. Anyone else?

What exactly do you mean by the "Back Button"?

If if is the one on the keyboard, it was disabled by a Chrome update a while back. A flipping pain!

Weird - Works for me, the back button on the keyboard does not though, on any site.

I've figured it out (I think). Whenever anyone embeds a video clip in a topic, for some reason it seems to preload. Therefore I have to click 'back' two or three times to get out of the preload and allow the back button to work.

Does the same happen when pressing ALT + Left keys?
