Filter by OP postings
Discussion
What a great idea. Sick of trawling through an interesting idea, restoration, housebuild etc only to be put off by lots of repetition, arguments etc from other posters.
If you have time/are bored it can be very funny but more often than not, it can get really boring when it's 3 posters bhing at eachother.

This is really good!
It would be awesome to also show 'My Posts Only' for a particular thread.
And as an extension, if you could click on a link on one of the posts filtered to would then take you to that post in the whole thread would be even more great!!
I'm almost proving my own point - but a filter by posters function would be far far better to get the context of an individuals POVIt would be awesome to also show 'My Posts Only' for a particular thread.

I can't say that I have ever wanted to filter a thread to only see the contributions from the person who started the thread. Not once in 20-odd years.
I can think of far better uses for Development resource than new features like this. Fixing some of the outstanding bugs, for a start.

I think it's a nice little improvement, but as you say, considering how many much more glaring issues there with forum it feels like a misguided work area.
To name just a few:
-Batch uploading of images.
-403 Errors preventing replying to a thread.
-Decent search functionality, by title, date, forum area, etc.
-Wysiwyg editor for posts.
Basic core components for a forum.

Even more fundamental To name just a few:
-Batch uploading of images.
-403 Errors preventing replying to a thread.
-Decent search functionality, by title, date, forum area, etc.
-Wysiwyg editor for posts.
Basic core components for a forum.
- Quoting a username that has punctuation in it breaks quoting
- Typing anything in the garage summary or garage blog entries gets converted to html, then the html is escaped, and then saved back as text, with the net result that it looks like raw html ie. line breaks end up as <br/>
- Data entry in the garage shows currency as $ and lets you type the value to the nearest penny, but when displayed it rounds to the nearest £ (although at least it now shows it as whole £ as it used to stick ".00" on the end, so that's some improvement). If you then go back into editing the garage blog then values are shown in $ again and do have ".00" appended to them.

Yeah but other than that - all good right
(Looks like your username is unaffected by the quoting bug)
But there has always been issues with the characters below
" _ "
" , "
Edited to correct the really stupid error
