Why do my posts keep going missing?

I post on a thread, not start one, post it, click go back to thread and can see it highlighted in blue, but then the next time I click on the thread it’s gone. It’s happened several times now

Happened yesterday when I posted on a what car thread recommending a Jaguar F type and then it was gone, had to post again

Also happened on a post about spraying UPVC windows and a couple of others ?

Thanks for reporting Nick. While this will likely be difficult, we need to try and follow your steps to recreate the issue. Can you share a link to a thread where this has happened please? Can you provide some information on the device/browser you're using too please?

I posted here in the post after the photo of the fiat, saying another good idea would be a f type or a SL,

It then disappeared and I re posted later saying the same thing which is still there

Thanks for the information you've shared. We've investigated this but are unable to see any issues I'm afraid and no posts have been deleted by moderators. Are you making it through to the confirmation page that your post has been submitted each time?

Yes, I can even go back into the thread and see my post there, but when I go back into it the next time, it’s gone!

Thanks for confirming. Unfortunately we're unable to find what might be causing this – there are no posts that have been deleted by moderators and no posts missing from our database that might suggest a post has disappeared.
