PistonHeads Lotus Competition
Details on how to claim your refund and enter into the new competition
Because of unforeseen problems with the competition, it was closed without a winner being selected. Please accept our apologies for any disappointment or confusion which you may have been caused.
We would like to offer all entrants to the competition a full refund of your £1.50 entry fee. As a gesture of goodwill, we would also like to offer all entrants to the original competition the opportunity to enter a new prize draw, free of charge. Twenty PHers who entered the competition have requested that their entry fee be given to charity and Stingray Media Solutions and PistonHeads will donate £500 to Breakthrough- the UK's leading charity committed to fighting breast cancer.
The new prize draw will give you the chance to win a Lotus Driver Training Experience, courtesy of Lotus Sport. This fantastic day takes place at the Hethel test circuit in Norfolk.
The winner's day will include the following:
Oversteer and understeer training
Staggered gate slalom course
Braking activities
Full circuit driving sessions
High speed passenger rides
Awards presentation
PistonHeads will offer PH merchandise to five runners-up.
To claim your refund and to let us know if you would like to enter the new prize draw please email us at lotuscompetition@pistonheads.com Please include your telephone number within the email as we will need to validate your claim against the original entry data.
The winner will be picked at random on 7 April 2008 and the winner will be notified the same day. Winners details will be posted on PistonHeads.com later that week.
PistonHeads would like to thank the team at Group Lotus for generously providing the prize, despite not being involved with the original competition.
Please note that winners must be over 21 and hold a full driving licence.
