If it were a different colour I'd go and have a look but I'm not too fond of this shade of yellow. It only it were pearl yellow...

Thanks - I loved the R8 too - it was an awesome piece of engineering and great to drive.

Its problem was that it was a little too clinical and somehow lacked soul. I'd be tempted with another though

Yes - I saw it the other night but something not quite right about the ad. It states 2008 yet on a 55 plate and also states 6.0L (and so it should be) yet the picture of the engine cover states 5.7...

Best to walk on that one I think...

Depending on location maybe worth a look, you sometimes get dealers and people that do not know what they have ....

Very badly prepared advert.
The first part of the script describes a Diablo in a museum, which also seems to be the car in the pics. So is the car that is for sale, the same car?
I would wonder why it has been rebuilt (DVLA proof) if it has never been damaged as claimed in the ad.
Get an expert to check it out.

Something real strange about this.

The interior shot is of a replica, not gear gate, seats are wrong, centre console is wrong, door panel and whole host of other things, ones the shots from the rear is of a replica Diablo, and same for the front pic and side ones.

I think the LK55 car is real, but the rest of the pics are of a replica car.

Yep - LK55 is a real car currently in a museum. The one advertised without number plates has different exhaust and sv engine cover so I assume a different car although the brown must be a rare colour. I've emailed the seller but I'm not expecting a reply...

I can't put my finger on it as firmly as some on here, but it there is definitely something not right about the centre console and the lack of Gate...

Not stopping people bidding however, so one can only assume that those bidding have been to look at the car and it is otherwise correct

I will watch the auction with interest ...

looks like 1998 engine covers, but the rear panels are all wrong for an SV
rebodied and comparison to other kit cars ? think he's managed to get the DVLA to think its a real Lamborghini perhaps ?

I've emailed him a few days ago and no reply yet. Some bits stakc up, others don't ie it makes no reference to service history which is probably one of THE most important things is a Diablo. The exhausts are compeltely different on differnt pictures, one set don't appear to be genuine factory exhausts as they are too small. As others have said, the interior is all wrong as are a few other things! God knows who's bidding for it with no mention of all these details unless someone thinks they are getting a 'bargain'!

That has got to be a kit car - with one photo of a genuine car mixed in...

Exhausts not right ... what the hell is that rear panel on the same picture.. tunnel not right inside and no gear shift gate..

There were better looking replicas for sale a month or so ago for less money, so whoever is bidding £50k+ on it currently must have been to have a look and can see better than we can from the ad ??

"I Think" that car might be currently having some work done near me.. How many yellow SV's can there be with painted yellow wheel centres ? IF it is the same car, it is in for a suspension strip and refurb, and my interest is because I am planning to have the same done to mine this winter.

I did get a reply...seems it's real...however....alongwith the above points...the dash looks loose?.why..missing front bumper...dents...paint...service history..frontal damage?..non insurance claim or not...is it tuned. .brown....is it worth 50 k.....I could still go anf look but would take an expert....is it cheap if you have to spent 15-20k on it?
