Still no joy Lee? No movement on the car we discussed?

Still no joy Sudesh frown

The one we discussed turned out to be a lemon. It failed its mot on various electricial issues and when Mike delved a little deeper, the issues got worse. Mike was good enough to call and explain and is keeping his eyes peeled for me. He didn't want me buying the car or want anything to do with it that may affect his reputation. Fair play to him.
The last I heard was that the car had been sold in its known state to another well known party who deals in Diablos. I'm just curious when it will surface again...

Looks like P30LAM with the interior changed again, this time for the better as the pink and red was awful.

EDIT: it is the same car, although add says 1997, I recall it being a Feburary 1996 car.

When I first met Carlo of Topgear Specialist Cars last year he was kind enough to show me round the Red Diablo SE. Truly stunning car and the interior work was brilliant. Well worth a look there if you are in the market for one.

All the SEs were RLA VIN numbers, so built August 1994 - August 1995.

Is 1997 date of first reg in UK ?

Some were late registered, the Viola one Amari had was 1996, and the red one that Carlo is now selling, is registered in 1996 not 1997.

Before I purchased my 93 car, I thought about that yellow one in the second pic, but it took the seller that long to reply or give me any info, I had moved on. It's been for sale for over a year or more, has the SE30 style front bumper like mine, which is nice.

The LHD car has been up for a good few months too, don't know much about it, but visually there are a few things I didn't like about it, exhausts for one, also the front indicator/side lights are not original, or even close to original, few bits missing in the engine bay too.

Hi,

Thanks for reading! I enjoy that work allot, wish I could do it full time lol.

From just a quick look, in the engine bay the exhaust heat shield is missing, there is also an aluminium brace/bar that goes between the 2 coolant pipes that's not there, it basically runs from left side of car to right side. Also there is a little cover/guard that goes over the distributor cap, that's not there either, [although I've seen this missing on a few] from another look, the 4 lower front fog/driving lights are not OEM either, although these seem to be easily damaged/cracked over the years and you can no longer by them new as Carello who made the light are no longer in business. I didn't have them on mine either, but found a subtitle replacement for now, although I may have found some OEM ones from old stock list.

Not keen on the carbon vinyl either that's used in a few places, but we each have our own tastes.

Would like to see some better shots of the interior too.

Personally I'd view the RHD one first.

Hi thanks for all the info I'll see what happens although I have been put off by the way I was dealt with. Like someone else said it's the car and not the person selling that's important.

Have you had many issues owning yours and who's the best 're insurance?

Hi,

Yeah I have had a few issues, but nothing that wasn't to be expected I guess from owning old school Lambos, most of what I came accross is in my refresh thread. Then there were things I wanted to do/update myself for cosmetic and preventative measures, as we are retailer now for the tail lights, I added all new there units, I have just managed to source the front combination lights [indicator/side light] Lamborgjni no longer sell these, so wil be adding those shortly.
