Good morning all
Are we about to see an increase in value in the Diablo market when compared to other 90's classic cars that seem to have gone up in value
Have noticed a Diablo SV in the classifieds asking price £110k that must be a £20k more than the last one that was advertised
What are your thoughts?

Didnt see the one being sold by The Supercar Rooms (very nice)
Was speaking to a well known supercar dealer based in North West and his views on the Diablo's are that they will head the same way as the Countach did!

Yep - Diablo prices rising very quickly.

The blue SV at Supercar rooms belongs to fellow PH'er ahoughton.

My only regret is not buying one sooner frown

I have one too and thought about selling mine, yet once i get behind the wheel and start the engine i realise how lucky i am to own such a car
My advice would be if you dont need to sell then dont
I have a 964t and a Scud and none come close to the Diablo, awesome machines
Good luck either way

I think the Diablo prices are going to soar, I can't believe they aren't higher already.

Still the finest supercar in my eyes, nothing has beaten it.

I have posted something similar on the testarossa thread, am noticing a rapid rise in prices also in both the testarossa and 512 tr. The rise in the Diablo however surprises me, in as much as it didn't happen sooner. The SE cars at £140-150k are starting to look like a cheeky investment. I mean what touches a Diablo for sheer drama and presence nowadays? I love murcielagos but next to a Diablo they are rather restrained, even in SV form. The viola SE is the one for me, epic, epic car. Knocks me on my arse every time, unless its parked next to low body countach with gold wheels!

So is it only the SV's that are going up in price or the whole range of Diablos ?

If they are all going up, then surely this one in the PistonHeads For Sale section should be snapped up quickly -

However, pretty sure that has been for sale for a while - I am missing something somewhere aren't I

The very rare models will be the first to increase which is already happening, when supply and demand isn't there, the next models will follow and eventually all of them will rise. It happened with the Countach, Diablo is next in line.

Also happened with the NSX the past few years, used to be able to pick up an early Manual car for £15k, now your looking at £30k plus. Late models or the last off, £50 to £65 depending on miles etc etc.

The Top Gear car is well priced in my opinion. The wheels on that car where designed by Afzal Khan.

It has been for sale for a while, I must look at it once every couple of weeks. It's absolutely stunning, and I love that colour. If only I was in a position to buy it, not that I'm anywhere near Lamborghini ownership! hehe

These can only go up in my opinion. We may be in a supercar pricing bubble, but even if (when?) the bubble bursts, you still wouldn't take a bath on one!

Mr AHaughton's is looking a very good buy for someone now...

just seen this...

not sure about the 1 of 8 - I think that's a reference to the 1999 fixed headlight models.

Are the pop up headlights more desireable?

Not £40k more desirable!

Wouldn't be a fan of the exhaust tips, color coded rear grill and tail light surrounds on the 98 car. I do like the interior though and the SE side skirts.
