Just a year ago, SVs were circa £80k. £200k plus is Aventador money. I guess this guy is a "trier". Are Diablos really selling for six figure sums now, or is it all just market hype?

Sorry, can't not say anything about the wheels.....Why would you replace the OM wheels for the ones that are on the car now? Truly Horrid. I realise that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but really.......

What's the value of a 'base spec' RHD '93 Diablo circa 12k miles?

Its insurance renewal time and there hasn't been a non VT or SV for sale for quite a while.

In PH classified at the moment there's:

'97 SV 9k miles £166k
'98 SV 14k miles £150k
'96 SV 20k miles £189k
'94 VT 29k miles £110k LHD
'00 VT 20k miles £165k
'96 VT Roadster 15k miles £160k
'95 VT 11k miles £140k
'93 VT 13k miles £145k LHD

The last one that sold at a dealer that I know of was £59950 about 9 months ago (Top Gear Cars). I guess that £65-70k is pretty realistic for a good one now.

The Diablo is rising on the back of Countach prices, so saw strong gains this last year - £70k for a standard car sounds a little low to me.

If you are a member of LCUK, you may want to talk to Simon about a valuation, and then insure as agreed value.
Excellent service.

All depends on the small print of the policy if something happens, as the market seems to be valuing them at about half that.........

Kahn are advertising a '93 LHD Diablo for £100k, no pictures yet though.

Interesting to see how long they have it before it sells.

I seem to recall it was advertised at Graham Shultz's Lamborghini Wyckham for £1M a few years before it was advertised at VVS, who I believe want £330k.

You pays your money........

Not sure why you wouldn't buy a Murci for that kinda money?

When I pull up in one of my Diablos next to a Murci, the Murci becomes invisible.

Is that what the OP meant, or is he suggesting that a Murciellago is the better car dynamically?

GTR35 is better dynamically than a Murci. Would you buy one over a Murci??

Lamborghinis go way beyond dynamics.
