What should I expect to pay for an Aventador Roadster
Discussion
Gents, having had my Aventador for just over 12 months, whilst I love the car, I do keep toying with swapping it for a roadster (just shame the roof spoils the roofline IMO especially with a black roof on brightly coloured cars) .... But classified range from £310 for a car with 2-3000 miles up to £350k+ for one that's got 70 miles, which I assume to be new car mileage after road testing etc?
I can't find an official online configurator where you select options and it adds the prices (like I do on my Range Rovers) and never quite seem to get a straight answer from a dealer as to how much one is new, before options, and what each of the options cost to add it up myself.
I'm trying to work out if I want to pay £XXXk to swap my car, especially when I would probably spec it very similar anyway.
I'd feel compelled to go for a different colour so it at least felt like a new car, but I do adore my Verde Ithica.
Any Intel on base car cost and options would be much appreciated.

At release last year most reviews quote the pre options price of 295k....
Topjay is great for prices esp of options, hopefully he will be along in a bit.

Sure as hell, if I had the money to buy one, I'd be a pissed off if a dealer can't give me simple answers re the costs. Is it because they want to 'profit' from the so called scarcity of them, and see what they can get, rather than give out a price. PH classifieds are showing circa £350,000 for delv mileage, with lots of knobs and whistles on the extra's list.
Rob, to be fair to the dealers, the literature in terms of brochures etc just don't seem to be there.
My dealer goes out of his way to get back to me anytime I call, even late at nights or weekends, so it's not a grumble directed at the dealer in any way whatsoever, more at Lamborghini themselves.
My dealer offered to fly me to Italy to the factory to spec a car, but I don't like flying and wanted to get a good idea of what I wanted first, which you just can't do sat in a dealership ... You're on the spot and can't think and come back to it later etc
Within the VW Audi Group, they know how to do it ..... a quick look at Audi's website, within 2-3 minutes I found they have an online brochure for each model that then shows what's included as standard and the various options lists (and prices for each) .... Ive never seen this with Lambo, hence why I asked the question.
I appreciate you can have almost anything it you are willing to pay for it, but why not produce a simple straight forward brochure or online configurator than people can sit and play with and keep coming back to.

Ferrari's online Configurator below ... They have one.
Doesn't show prices but shows what you can have, and visually adds them to the car as you go. It shows all the options you can have and you can sit and take as long as you want to design your perfect car.
This is what I want to be able to do when ordering cars.
It can be done sitting in the dealership (I've sat and done it) but I want to take my time getting close to what I want without wasting anyone else's, then when I'm 99% I can go to the dealer to make final choices.
.
I also think it'd pay for itself as clicking buttons and seeing it, makes you click more buttons.
When I spec'd my RR, the wife's Evoque and the Evoque for my parents which is being built next week, I ended up choosing almost every added option, for this very reason.

It comes down to transparency.
I'm sure most of us are used to buying/selling things and we all have to have a clear pricing structure to enable customers to buy and the same from our suppliers who we buy from.
If it's not 100% clear (or too complicated), they'll probably shop elsewhere, my customers certainly would and if I didn't know exactly what I was buying and at what price from our suppliers, we'd probably shop elsewhere ourselves.
It's a bit like the car adverts that show a price but then add VAT .... I just wouldn't buy a car from anyone using this method (I don't know why, it just gives me the "impression" that they're not being entirely above board). Maybe I'm just getting a little eccentric & synical in my old age ha ha

Er - go in to the showroom (Lamborghini London is my nearest) - and have a chat with them. Tell them what you're looking for. If you're after a new car, they'll happily give you a price list - with all available options. I have an early 2014 price list - which I can scan and send on, if required. I love mine!

I've spent many hours playing with this non official one by Lambocars.com.
It's actually pretty good. I don't now why they haven't tried selling it to Lamborghini themselves.

Hope you enjoy.
Nothing more to add other than I hope I see it round Burbage soon

This is superb. I think we can all agree the Veneno look is the way to go.It's actually pretty good. I don't now why they haven't tried selling it to Lamborghini themselves.
