Have been in discussion with Roger the owner of EZ Power Steering in Holland and am about to take the plunge and have the system fitted to the Diablo.

EVO Harry was very positive when he had the system fitted to his Countach, but has anyone else had experience of an 'EZ' converted car?

Some of you may be horrified that i'm doing such a thing but Lamborghini fitted power steering the year after mine was manufactured and have done ever since.

The system can be 'tuned' so that the amount of assistance reduces with speed and becomes negligible/zero beyond a certain speed.

Call me a wimp if you like, but if you haven't parked a non-ps Diablo (and Countach as well I suspect) the effort required is truly immense. It does make you think twice about just popping out in it if you know that there's going to be some parallel parking required! (First World Problem i know!)

Slightly different question, which cross channel ferries do people rate? Have used the tunnel for the last 15 years and fancy trying the ferry for a change.

I've never tried the conversion, but if it were my early Diablo, I'd do the same.

The very heavy steering put me off the early cars - that's why I went for the slightly later VT.

Have you spoken to Mike about the power steering conversion? Are there other options are out there?

I hope it goes well for you.

Heavy steering is all part of the experience!
The other half will drive the Diablo but not the Countach, so it's all relative.
