Yes i went to see the car last year.
It had no service history at the time and when I subsequently had an ask around and found out that it had had 2x main dealer services early in its life i let the owner know. There was also a lack of any old MOT's or Service Receipts so no way of verifying the claimed mileage.
The invoices for repair work included 2nd hand suspension bought from Traynors (car breakers in Northern Ireland) which yes would be genuine parts but to my mind shows that it was repaired 'on the cheap'.
Of most concern was the fact that in the 2010 2x hour inspection the suspension geometry was outside of tolerance. Whilst it might be possible to adjust it to within tolerance, it also might not and could be a sign that the car is still bent.
There was also cracking to the paint on the corner of the bonnet where i assume the bonnet had previously been repaired but not properly(?. It may need a new bonnet to rectify this properly.
Motorhub in Yorkshire had a similar age, lower mileage, same colour car for sale for quite some time at £85k which they said they'd sell for £80k and it wasn't CAT C/D (Its now showing on their website as Sold).
CAT D in my experience devalues a car by 1/4 and CAT C by 1/3 assuming everything else is OK ie Car has been properly repaired and isn't still bent!

A 'Cat D' car is a car that would cost less to repair than the value of the car, but the repair cost was still deemed excessive by the insurer, while a 'Cat C' car was damaged to a point where the repairs would have cost more than the value of the car.
BUT - If the value of the car goes up, this is negated of course - which is a rather strange concept for most cars of course :-)
suspension is highly adjustable and likely it will not be correct on most cars if any parts have been changed.
A specialist alignment place can sort it for <£200.
The frame is all square tubes and very strong (and difficult to damage), and the bodywork hangs onto it (sacrificial but very expensive - hence why Cat C/D comes about)
Cat D can be removed (sort of), moving the vehicle to Cat Inspected - costs about £400 - unsure how much this will alter the value. Not sure about whether you can do this with Cat C.
Murci's are likely to follow Diablo values in time, so may be worth it over a long time span (10 years perhaps ?) - depends if you after a keeper or not
