Hi Guys,

Just purchased a new Huracan (as per the below spec) which I will collect in September for the new registration.
- Grigio Lynx
- Nero Ade – Black Leather/Alcantara split
- Coloured Stitching – Grigio Cronus
- Electric & Heated Seats
- Rear View Camera & Parking Sensors
- TEB with Carbon Forged Bay
- Bluetooth
- DAB
- Navigation System Europe
- Branding Package
- Floor Mats with Leather Piping & Double Stitching
- LDS
- Lifting System & Magneto-rheological Suspension
- Category 5 NavTrak pro System

I wondered if anything has gone from a 458 to a Huracan and how different the drive is?
Also wondered what kind of prices people have been paying for Huracan's at the moment based on something of the above spec?

Purchased locally and can not fault the dealer who has been spot on to date

Regards

Dafydd

Had my Huracan for 4 or months or so now, came from and Aventador previously and 458 before that.
Huracan is a much easier car to live with than the Aventador and better in every way apart from the trademark doors ofcourse.
When I owned the 458 I thought I'd reached a point where gearboxes couldn't get any better but I was wrong, the box in the H is brilliant it almost changes as soon as you think about it. It's an easier car to drive quicker than the 458 and is definately quicker off the mark and point to point. That said the 458 is a great car in my humble.
The cabin and finish is second to none and the way the car feels put together is excellent.
The dreaded under steer spoke of on certain forums is something I've not really experienced and I've had my car at some scary speeds that I wouldn't have took any cars I'd owned previously.
With regard the spec on your car I think the greys look fantastic but I do think a red or orange caliper really set the car off well.
Good luck with your purchase I guarantee you'll love it!

Yes very good choice of colours. The Huracan still has the classic "supercar" shape to not need a bright primary colour and still look, er, well like a supercar.

From a person who has not owned either 458 or Huracan I think the Huracan also sounds a lot better. I don't like flat plane crank V8 noise much, the V10 is sonorous in comparison.

Just out of interest, how much were the floor mats? They even sound expensive from your description.

Oh talking about noise, the race exhaust is an absolute must on these cars. Stock they sound much to quiet. With the Race exhaust on you can keep off the power to keep it a little more subtle when needs be and its epic when under load.

Cheers for the replies guys.
Absolutely love the Aventador, however its a big car and I park in London allot so wondered if I would struggle at times.
I think after some fun with the Huracan I might try out the Aventador, however this is way off (And more money!)

I have loved the 458 ownership, however after a test drive in the Huracan (even though I wasn’t driving) the drive was allot more brutal than the 458, gear changes were instant and generally allot quicker than the 458, so allot of pluses for the Huracan.
I really liked the internal setup and for some reason it feels internally allot more of a super car internally than the 458 for some strange reason, could be the bucket seats compared to the 458 even though mine has the racing seats.

I actually picked up the spec of the coloured caliper’s on a email to the dealer and asked for a cost of these, so I think I will run with the orange colour.
The demo car had a standard exhaust and this roared in sports and strada, so will probably run with this and maybe look to do a retro fit at a latter date if needed.

I have just checked the matts and these come to a grand total of £528……!
The dealer has been great and done a deal on a stock car which is being modded slightly, so to be honest I would of dreamt about having the matts however looked at the bottom line rather than line item costs.

Sone, don’t suppose your open to what you paid for yours via PM?

Golly, Imagine if Lambo did and SUV and you had to buy 4. You will have to put some Halfords mats on top of them to stop them getting grubby at that price smile Would be quite fun to make people take their shoes off when they get in also.

Post some pictures of the car ( and mats ! ) when it arrives.

Brother in Law went from a 458 to the Huracán.

Love both in very different ways. But in no way regrets his decision. Although he does miss the 458 at times.

Lambo feels more raw but much easier to drive. Not that the 458 is hard to live with!
