Morning,

Killing time before lunch.

Has anybody worked out which ones fit which cars ?

The 6.2 and lp ones are £1700 but the lp update ones are £460.

Altgough LPs seem to use the same clutch which would suggest the same bearing ?

The part numbers are the same bar the letter at the end.

I know Sydney SE suggested the Lp560 one would fit a 6.2, which is £460 but has any body tried one ?

Thanks

I also said you need the LP670 Bellhousing, as the oil ways (2 holes) are in different locations between the two bearings. By the way, the LP670 also runs the LP560 bearing.... I bought the bell housing from Lambo London.

Its NOT the LP640 bell housing- must be the LP670- how do I know... I have spare, brand new LP640 bell housing in the garage which didn't work, and I couldn't get a refund on....

Morning,

Is there no alternative for the 6.2 bearing then ?

Unless you go around replacing other bits aswell..

Thanks

no alternative, and exceptionally difficult to rebuild according to Hill Engineering (who do improve the Ferrari ones) owing to very thin seals (also why they fail).

I went and replaced the bell housing and connection to the bell housing so that in the future, should I ever need to replace the bearing its cheap. Ironically the updated bearing is less likely to fail as well as being cheaper.

To be fair, my car has 60K miles on the original bearing, but since I was replacing the clutch etc, for me it was future proofing, as I'm not planning on selling the car.
