Last person that I spoke to who got his Miura done at Polo Storico spent about €800,000.
Quite possible. But not necessary - €500k for a Miura with the best people in Italy. Assuming it's complete but needing everything done including some chassis, wiring and some trim. If it's a total basket case with mismatched panels from crashed cars, naff 'SV upgrades' done in US or UK and non-matching and rough engine it's not really worth doing at that level. Those sort of buyers would be mad to get those cars. Dinoboy said:

No matter how often you look at images like these, it still screams 'this is the future, now...'', fifty years on. Wonderful! In particular, these two - it's not just the shapes, proportions and angles, it's the surface detail or more precisely the lack of surface detail that makes it look so good, Gandini pulled off the same trick with the Stratos production prototype which was also shown at Geneva the same week....

I've always loved the original LP500 concept but I just adore this re recreation!
To me this looks too much like a prototype. To see it in motion, even just being shuffled around, is fantastic. At the risk of overstating it, Gandini's purity of line and form was part of his talent and genius.

Which is exactly what the original LP500 was Jonny! .

ahh.. missed the word "concept" in the description! It does look incredible. To see it in motion, even just being shuffled around, is fantastic. At the risk of overstating it, Gandini's purity of line and form was part of his talent and genius.

Does anyone know of a silver anniversary that around 2005/2006 wore the plate WOW1? I used to live in Didsbury, Manchester and it was owned by someone with an old car radio shop? He had a classic Rolls Royce, a Ferrari (that I have unbelievably forgotten), and an e-type. Was the most random sight!
Just wondered if anyone knew its history?

I used to live there and remember the car. I remember getting some audio put in my car there in the 90's. There was a parking area in front from memory. Was it near the Christie hospital?Just wondered if anyone knew its history?
