This must be 12272, one of only two Jalpas in Bordeaux Nuovo Panna and consigned to UK in time for the !985 Earls Court show. Sadly this car has subsequently been repainted.Edited by P300V8 on Tuesday 19th June 12:25

Thanks Raymond I mistook the colour! 12272 was bordeaux nuovo and 12255, 12302 were rosso speciale. 13.2.1987 reg. 143AWP Pegg,

Yes there was Chameleon, Trasco and Symbol (though I think Trasco may have been an outlet for Symbol, it was a long time ago) - I remember seeing a Gullwing 500SEC and a super-extended wheelbase SEL, nice chap with a beard showed me round these cars at Trasco and gave me a brochure which I lost years ago (no websites in those days).
They were usually badged 1000 SEL/SEC in gold and this was a good 10 years before the Max Power brigade. I'm sure most of these cars went to the Middle East.

Photo credits to a friend, David Irvine, who kindly agreed that I could post these pics...They were usually badged 1000 SEL/SEC in gold and this was a good 10 years before the Max Power brigade. I'm sure most of these cars went to the Middle East.

1985 Dorchester Hotel
Wow! Thank you for the pictures. Fascinating and Your photos are so clear!
The white LP400S above LHV40X was registered TAM1 for most of its life, then sold about 3 years ago at an auction in the UK for an absolute mint.
Do you know any more about the red LP5000S at Portman in 1989 above? New one on me tho from the rear fog light looks RHD.
Many thanks
Robert

B162FOE was first registered in February 1985, just after cessation of LP500S production. My wild guess would be ELA12781 the last 500S consigned to UK in December 1984. Loose_Cannon said:

Any more pictures, other than the ones already in this thread, of Tim Dutton's gold Countach (while it was still gold)?
Beautiful car, a tragedy it was repainted.
I have it brand new at the dealers somewhere. Will try and catch up with some of the requests over the next few days. For now...Beautiful car, a tragedy it was repainted.
