Robin - that photo would have been taken around 1990/1991. The blue Espada is my friend's one that we went to see, as it was having its engine rebuilt
I bought my car at the end of 1998 and Colin Clarke used to look after it for the previous owner and he brokered the sale to me. So could well be my car then.A favourite of mine! The LM002!
Interestingly the guysitting in the driver's seat was Howard Lees - who sadly died six years later in a stunt plane accident - he had the LM as he was road testng it for Autocar. The road test appeared in one of the November 87 . Still have the mag.

Some V8s now.
Wish I took more of these but my camera always seemed to be trained on the Countach!

This one below was in my old home town. Owner was attending a wedding and sadly wasn't a local car.

Right then, this Urraco is a bit special for me. It was owned by Vince Pumo, who owned Eurospares.
As mentioned earlier, I grew up in the same town and would sometimes see this car when I was doing my paper round in the mid eighties. Vince was an early riser!
I tried to blag a ride in it in the mornings (even though it meant a trek back to the newsagent) but Vince wasn't having any of it. I got to know Vince later on but he didn't have the car then sadly.
James Pumo recently told me that it was sold to Hendon Way Motors in the late Eighties and hasn't seen or heard of it since.
If anyone knows it's whereabouts I loved to know more!
I loved the Silhouette spoiler too.

Good investigation!
I'm the same. Would be great to know where some of these cars are now.
Real shame to see that the black Silhouette has not been on the road for decades.
With some of the lesser models it's not beyond the realms of possibility that they have gone to the great scrap dealer in the sky. I've seen a couple at Eurospares being dismantled that I saw a long long time ago.

Bear in mind that lots of the UK Lambo have gone abroad. There are a lot of RHD Countachs in Australia now for example. The LHD cars obviously could be anywhere. The Countach above that was bronze then navy then yellow was for sale at a dealer in France in the last few years, so was certainly in France despite being RHD. I'm the same. Would be great to know where some of these cars are now.

Just discovered this forum.
I was employed by Roger Phillips of Lamborghini as a driver from 1972 until 1974. Based at Alie Street London E1 and then Southwark Bridge before re locating to the west End. The photograph was taken of me in October 1973 with the motor show Countach which can now be viewed in the museum at St Agata. The larger photo (not yet posted) shows the Countach with a yellow Espada TGC55M which was our demo car at that time.
I have viewed the photos on this forum and can confirm that I have driven many of the cars displayed.
I will dig out some photos I have of cars from this era.
I was also involved with Lamborghini from 1976 until 1982 when they were located in Clapham and Whyteleafe Surrey.
It is good to see that many of the cars have survived.
This photograph was taken on Sunday 28th October 1973 in Cheam Surrey.
Roger Phillips and I had removed the Countach from Earls Court for a test drive before the car was returned to Italy.
TGC55M was our demonstrator that I had driven back from the factory the month before.
Customers who purchased a Lamborghini were given the option of having the car collected from the factory by transporter or the car would be collected by me or another driver and driven back to the UK. A distance of about 1000 miles. The car was then serviced by Del Hopkins or Bob West and then delivered to the customer having been run in and any teething problems fixed. I am happy to say that many customers opted to receive a 'run in' car! Not a bad job for a 23 year old.
I am happy to say that I have driven two of the cars that are now located in the Lamborghini museum. The Countach was a tight fit for me and I did not manage to go far.
However In 1973 I was at the factory and gave a lift to Walter Wolf in an Espada I was bringing back to the UK. I dropped Walter off at Milan airport. A few weeks later Walter asked me to collect his Miura from Switzerland and deliver it to the factory for remedial work. This was the nicest Miura I drove and attained an unprintable speed on the motorway between Milan and Modena, even with one headlight pointing at the road whilst the other illuminated the sky! This car was painted gold at the time. I believe that it has now been painted yellow.
