I also remember the Acapulco Blue 5000S (Reg LPO1) which he got from Mike Perry (Portmans) along with their Silver demonstrator Jalpa. Circa 1988 this was. The 5000S had a blue interior and rather than the leather gearshift, it had an aluminium turned one. (the originals, well they didn't last that well). That car after a month went back to Portman's and was sold to a Nigerian guy, Prince Adebayou Yinka.
I think Prince Adebbayou Yinka Ojora was his full name and he owned lots of supercars on the number plate "OJ22".

The picture below is from the Summer of 1988 at Portman Lamborghini in George Street in London. The blue car you are talking about is in the garage - you can see the number plate OJ22. It must have been sold to Yinka Ojora. There were only two UK RHD acapulco blue Countach LP5000S, but I'm damned if I know which of the two this one is...

FWIW - the muddy red RHD Countach QV earlier was E731KYL, and here is E734KYL, although this one is LHD.

I think that's Fred the valeter for Portman, his daughter Michelle used to help out too.

This is Fred Paul the valeter the best bloke!!!!! who also valeted David cars at Heathmans, he taught me alot and we chatted for hours. This black car belonged to a lebanese guy who also owned an anniversary too. Hi Zeco reg. Khalid Mahmoud and he also owned Mark Harts QV (his first Countach). Fred Paul later ended up at Tower Garage Maranello Egham were I went to see him in my P300 to show it to him. His son kevin worked alongside him and I'll always remember them saying how they hated doing the insides of Countach Windscreens!!!! Charlie was the delivery driver for Portmans in those days and he "really ran them in" on delivery day! LOL!!!! Charlie passed away over 20 years ago from the big "C". He was an awesome driver and took no prisoners!!!!

Was Michelle related too? (I always assumed she was Fred's daughter). Fred was a lovely bloke.

Yes Michelle was indeed his daughter and a stunner like her mum!!! She was really down to earth like her dad. Brilliant family. God I've still got the Shammy Fred gave me from 1989, still works a treat and leaves no scratches!! The man knew his beans!!

The picture of the Dirty Countach QV E731KYL.reg was Khalids car and thats in Lots road Chelsea where Mike Perry ended up after leaving Portmans to open his own showroom. I remember in there Mike Perry had The pearlescent QV of Dave Chidlow (18 Sexy), the yellow QV that got smashed up in Brooklands going up the hill (2001/2) and featured in numerous mags Autocar and Bike International (when it was tested against a Yamaha FZR), He also had a black on tan 5000S but can't remember the reg and later the Mars Marathon sponsored Jimmy Saville car which he sold new at Portmans.

It was a bonkers brilliant, brilliant, brilliant time!!!!!!

There was another pearlescent QV with a peppermint green interior that existed here in the UK and for my life I can't remember the name of the chap who owned it. He emigrated to Australia and the next thing was that he died in it in a severe crash. Sorry to be morbid... He was active in the club and a top bloke but for the love of God I can't remember his name. Stunning car on a D..reg smooth belly QV. (Dave some thing maybe.....????)

Those Lambo years were such a major part of my childhood and I'm so glad and grateful to have been experiencing all of it...What a great way to have been staying out of trouble I say!!!

I remember going to an event in Piccadilly with Peter Leonard Morgan whereby it was an Italian Airways hosted jaunt called "Italia uni mode di Vivre" and on display was Claudia Rahman's (Lebanese interior designer) Diablo in Fucia Magenta Pearl pink (to match her nail varnish). Lovely car and lady and that car was amazing!

Mauricefontana YOU BEEEAUUUTYY!!!!!!!! Great stuff!! Thats IT!!!!!!!!! That car was fitted originally with a double servo clutch booster by Del Hopkins to lighten it for her. It was stunning and her other half had a special order blue turquoise car, with blue alcantara dash. I remember seeing it again when it was for sale at Fast Classics in Guildford a couple of years ago!!

That magenta was a one off and ice white interior! God I remember seeing it in the flesh and going weak weak weak at the knees! Stunning car!

Great find you!!!!!

In the background of the Brentford pic on the ramp was an Anniversary Countach 3DUU which was also owned by Richard Earl (I think) who also had the Periscope car in orange with the same plate. He had a bookend matching pair. Same colour interior and exterior. Somewhere in one of my Lambo books is a picture of it when new pre-delivery at the factory in Sant.Agata.
Richard Earl owns (still today) an LP400 3DUU in orange and a matching Countach Anniversary G612VYT then A3DUU in orange. They were advertised for sale in the 1990s together, but they are still with Richard Earl.

Great find Robert W/ Maurice Fontana!! Yes that's the pair! Brilliant to still have them both! I think his son worked at Modena High Wycombe for Graham Schultz for a while and he owned a Urraco left hooker.

Brilliant stuff. So glad to know I wasn't alone in being bonkers in my youth!! We are not alone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow. Can I ask if you have photos of four cars that I have never seen a photo of by any chance? A red RHD LP5000S A266SYM; a red RHD QV DY2857, a white RHD skirted QV EE593AK and a black RHD Anniversary G470VYE. These were all suppied by Portman Lamborghini, so must have been there at some point, but I have never seen any photo of any of them. [Slightly selfish, but I thought I may as well ask!]. Keep the fantastic photos and stories coming. I will keep filling in gaps where I can. Thank you.

Right I think (but not sure) A red RHD 5000S A266SYM was that the town and country rental car? What colour interior? Andy Gibb, BeeGee car possibly
RHD QV DY2857 not sure but I have a feeling it had an after market side skirt like Koenig fitment (not 88spec style) D11HUL possibly
A white RHD skirted QV....what colour interior? Possibly now in OZ, although there was a Liverpudlian lad (Window Cleaner) top guy who had a White skirted car that originally had EE plates and he also owned a Subaru, met him at a Club meet in Silverstone then at the Murcielago launch in 2001. He Loved his car and had it for years. Can't remember his full name but Darren rings a bell. He was full of life and a great laugh, he had a permanent smile and all he did was rave about his amazing Countach
.
A black Anniversary if it had cream interior I think that belonged to a one time Lambo club member Terry Byrne who worked at Mole Valley TVR in Chessington and I think its on Pistons right now.

Charlie Broadbent [?] - he always had a camera and took photos of all the cars. Sadly the photos have never seen the light of day. No idea who has them or if we'll ever see them, but he must have had the ultimate UK Lambo photo collection.

[185EXY was Rob Capp not David Chidlow] Mike Perry's place was called Connaught Chelsea in Lots Road. Here is 185EXY and you can see the yellow QV next to it:

D351GYX was the car. Pearl white with peppermint green. I was told that it was destroyed in France, but the owner wasn't driving it. It had been lent or rented to someone else, so it was all a bit odd. The driver's family wanted to keep the car after the accident as they were sure it was his car, but it wasn't. Here is the car (not my photo):
