And here is the Jimmy Saville Mars Marathon car! If memory serves me this was the first Marathon held as we know it today! I remember seeing this and couldn't believe my eyes Circa 1985 and the then salesman Mike Perry being very generous in letting me sit in the cars!
George street off Portman square, God if I could have camped outside I would have!!! Many a multiple trip there and it was heaven for me several times a week. Love it!! LAMBOTASTIC!!!!!!

The first every photo of EER1 - front spoiler looks unusual? EER1 is the second last RHD Countach LP5000S. Supplied new to the owner of a haulage company in East Anglia, who I think still owns it today. It was seen by many a kid driving in East Anglia, but no one ever had a photo of it, so this is the very first photo any of us will ever have seen of this car. Thank you Mr MaserCoupe!
Oh - and there is the last RHD LP5000S B502WYE.. nice!

YOU are most Welcome Robert W, my pleasure!!! The front spoiler does look exaggerated and weird yes, but that was only because I took the picture with my iPhone just now. However it was a standard car in my favourite colour combo and wow I nearly soiled myself when I saw it!!!

OK so here we have B350WYE......SPOT THE DIFFERENCE To the next pic! When new and then later at Heathmans some three years later. It was originally ordered as a Red car and the factory mistakenly painted it Black. The customer waited many months for delivery then came to pick his car and found the paint was not what he had ordered. He obviously wasn't going to wait anymore so got Portman re-paint it in the correct colour. When it arrived At Heathmans, it had by then carried a Gold pin-stripe coach line and Gold badging at the rear
Looking at the pictures of it when new and laughing at the retail price.. A mere snip to you at £54,000!!! LOL!!!!!! What a time the 1980's were! God I miss those days...

Hi Robert, yeah EER1 and B502WYE were together when I took those photos side by side. The last and second to last...Who Knew!!!!!! I somehow always loved the 5000S rear engine deck to the QV, but who can deny the smooth power delivery of the quattrovalvole engine when compared to the 2-valver! Just so Awesome!!! This Brings back some amazing memories for me, dragging my parents up to London several times a week, just for me to be close to and photograph these cars...God it still feels like yesterday!!

Remember this beauty!!!???? Peach with mid brown leather 5000S. Sports Exhaust and pinstriped wheels. This was later re-painted by Modena Lamborghini in High Wycombe to dark Blue, black Wheels and the leather was left original mid-brown. It is now in Australia. Only Countaches got away with these lairy colours!!! This was a regular and a favourite.
Probably the most significant Countach, and the car that lit the fuse and imagination for us here in the UK outside the Walter Wolf orange one-off car. 425BHP blue printed2 valve beauty!!! BR33 featured in virtually all the press here in the UK due to its very generous owner and an amazing driver/racer in his own right. The Demolition man, God bless you Barry Robinson, its your fault for making us dribble over the magazines in excitement!! LOL!!! Here at Heathmans of London and fitted with its Alpine ear busting Stereo system

LM002 at Heathmans, God my arms still hurt from washing it!!!! Would love to know where this is! What a Monster of a car,Jeep, SUV, Off roader or what ever you wanna call it!! RAMBO LAMBO never was a word so fitting for this automobile. First SUV to the world courtesy of Santa Agata Bolognese...and boy did they get it right, OTT!!! Love it!
Circa 1987/88 This QV belonged to Steve Forster (Reg.SF1 of White on blue interior Anniversary fame, that anniversary is now or was at Slades garage) then it later became Vik Sawyers car VFS1 Red on blue, Steve brought it to Heathmans to be sold, then took it back a couple of weeks later. In the background is Fred Paul's van who valeted for Heathmans and Portmans and was/is a top bloke. Spent many hours chatting with him and his son Kevin. They were both as honest and down to earth as they get. Miss those guys! !

Circa 1988, The ultimate in a Gentleman's Carriage!!!! Lamborghini's 400GT... What a fantastic day this was with David! We went to pick this up from an Armenian Gent who lived in St Johns Wood. If memory serves, his name was Vahey and a really nice, genuine fellow. I remember him telling us that he bought it with his brother as an investment.. We noticed that it was leaking from one of it's fuel lines to the Carb, and David had a Cigar in his hand while he was inspecting it EEEEEEEK!! Here it is the day we brought it from London, in it's original un-restored hue of Navy blue with Tobacco leather interior. I believe this was later re-painted in the 1990's into black...
