The Tony Iommi (Rocker from Black Sabbath) Car, Duck egg Blue. Here it is in Oct 2016 getting a Carb tune at my local Ferrari Specialist before a big tour that it went on. Lamborghini what a small band when compared to the likes of Porsche. Can you imagine what it would be like to catalogue and document 911's in the UK!!!???? LOL! Corrected that for you!

I stand corrected sir, Knew I should have worn my glasses!! LOL!
As you have seen many Lamborghinis from the 80s era, did you ever see a red Espada with a registration of CVO 7 or VCO 7 which I saw in South Wales a few times probably in the mid to late 70s? The car was unusual in that I remember it having CD plates (corps diplomatique), so probably driven by someone of high importance politically.Really like your photos, they bring back good memories of the early days of Lamborghini.

On the Embankment, what an awesome sound that QV made! The Cops in the Sierra in the background gave us such evil looks as they went by!!!! Honest we weren't speeding officer! No really we weren't....LOL!!

Thanks SAB888, Yeah those I can honestly say were amazing days! CVO7 I'll have to check, but if memory serves me was a series 2 car and it had black painted spinners. I recall it being pictured and tested in Supercar classics magazine (a now defunct magazine) but let me check that when I get a mo.Really like your photos, they bring back good memories of the early days of Lamborghini.

Yes, those were great times back then. Ok thanks, have tried to find details about that Espada but never came up with anything.Really enjoying this thread and looking back at the old pictures. I saw this one in the Brands Hatch paddock for the Thunder Saloons circa 1984 when the sight of a Countach in the flesh was something special.
For some reason I thought this might have been the Barry Robinson car that was registered BR33?

There must have been around a dozen of us pestering owners and dealers up and down the country during the 80's but I think the UK Lambo Kids have done a better job of documenting their domestic cars than any other region on the planet!!!
I couldn't agree more!!! Back then they were just another car to push out the door and generally there was an air of Blase (ness) towards them! Money, money, money everywhere!! To me they were just really really special cars. I must say what I saw in them was just that they were outrageous, over the top and plain amazing! Exactly what a hormonal teenager lusted after and would want!!! When I spent time with David at Heathmans, I always remember him saying "These bloody Countaches and their weak second gear synchro!!" As he powered it up and tried selecting that 2nd gear!!! I would say "mate did you forget the clutch?" and he'd reply "No sunshine, these boxes have a weak synchro, especially in London cars!" but to me I just thought who cares this is an amazing car!!!!!
Great stuff and pics from all contributors, just great!!! Keep em coming!!!!!!
