Mike Perry of Portman Lamborghini in London set up Connaught Chelsea in Lots Road in London. Photos from 1989/1990:
Saw Mike Perry a few years back at Mike Pullen’s.
He said he’d been in motorsport in the intervening years.

Love that photo of Mike cleaning the car. Jeez what a time to be involved in eh? Why does it seem so much more exciting that selling aventadors? Is it just nostalgia and rose tinted glasses or was it just an epic car and magic times?

Hi
C323BYV is the red/blue car formerly 8789SF and later VFS141 and currently C416NGH. Never seen a photo of it without a wing!

The most beautiful car on my block!! Willow Bank, Ham, Richmond, Surrey 1983. I Couldn't believe my eyes when this car was parked across my door!! I just chucked My BMX on the floor! ran in to get my camera and the rest was history!!

Stone me I then glimpsed it again in March 1988 at Brentford workshops (when David took me out in a QV to pick up a 5000S he just had serviced), then again we crossed paths in Sept 2015 at Mike Pullens shop! I then just quietly went up to her and whispered gently, will you please stop stalking me!!! You know I love you but I can't afford you!!!!!!!!!!

Sold for big numbers several years ago....

Hi "Super" snapperseven, they really were special times! God knows how they were amazing! I'm welling up just thinking about it. The car was epic and yes a headache at the same time, but you forgave it for the depth of it's brilliance and charisma but above all its visual drama! One day eh one day...Don't give up on the dream!

Portman Circa 1985 at a very tender young age. Apologies for the quality of the picture, this was with my snap happy Kodak camera 135mm film (at least I think that's what it was called). Boyhood fantasy comes alive....... a brand new £54,000 Countach 5000S

Pullicinos in the early 1990s - two Countachs, two Isleros and a Miura

Clearly at Goodwood:

Straight 8:

This was at LeMans

...and finally Portman in Ealing in August 1991 - TAM1 is the same car as LHV40X - and yes, that is a 288GTO on the right.

LOL!!!!! Brilliant stuff, Keep em coming matey!!! I'm knee deep in Lambo pics too! By the time we dump all these on here we'll break the record for the biggest thread on Pistonheads!!!

That white Countach LBS reg has a Diablo too in his family stable, a lovely family from what I remember! I remember him turning up with his Countach and his lovely wife in toe in the Diablo and a child seat next to her with their baby!! How cool I thought and who says Lambos aren't practical!!!!! Brilliant!

That’s me. It’s LBG, not LBS. The child in that child seat is now 6’4”! Still got both cars.

Brilliant, Brilliant, Brilliant!!! What a small World!!! That's right LBG! We have actually met at the Lamborghini Club back in the early 2000 and briefly spoke about your Countach and how you found it! If memory serves a hairdresser owned it at one time? Forgive my memory if I'm wrong. We chatted about how I thought your car belonged to a luxury Persian carpet seller in London as he had made the papers in the 1980's with an identical combination white 5000S with part white/blue interior car. But it transpired that yours was another car altogether.

However, if I remember correctly your lovely Countach was also featured in the Jeremy Coulter Countach Book (World Supercar series published by Albion Scott 1985) with Valentino pictured at the Wheel while he was testing and shaking it down in Sant Agata.

Great moment seeing you and your wife with your cars, it was a sight and very very cool to see!! The child is no child then at 6'4"..Goodness me How time flies!

Anyone remember the Countach's in Romford , early 80's ? A guy who owned some sort of discount carpet emporium in South Street and lived in a Harold Hill council house ! I remember at least 3 of his Lambo's and many other various exotica parked up in Romford town centre , Collier Row and scattered up the pavements on the Harold Hill estate . It was surreal , very strange times indeed !

No idea on that one. Any idea what colour it was or when this was?

This is a burnt out RHD Countach up near Preston. Anyone any idea even what colour this car was? It is an LP5000S in RHD but none of the usual guys know anything about this car.

Any ideas anyone?
