Yes, I had understood that the print run of the books was to be the same volume as the production run of the Miura, but I hadn't realised that Kidston were matching book numbers to Miura production numbers, which is a nice touch. I was surprised to see my book number was only written in pencil, which should have longevity, but I had though it would be written in ink.TonyAM66 said:

I presume the success of Kidston's book is also responsible for the eBay listings for Joe Sackey's book at 900 pounds and Coltrin's book at over 400 pounds! I'm glad I just paid the token cover price when they were new!bish_345 said:

My copy of Joe Sackey book is 'as new' and I picked up in the Oxfam Book Shop in Witney. They were asking for a price substantially less than advertised elsewhere, so I made a point of offering them substantially more than they were asking, my conscious was a little clearer and they were happy, so it was a ‘feel good’ Saturday morning … remember those?!?! 😊
The other ‘Miura esque’ Book is the Bob Wallace Book – The Man Who Married Sportscars by Maria Cristina Guizzardi, which is great read and now cost substantially more than it originally cost.
Additionally, The Best Job in the World – Lamborghini Test Driver – Valentino Balboni by Matthias Pfannmueller, which is still close to it’s original cost.

Some nice comments here; it is a fantastic book, thank you one and all. To dubunk the 'pencil' issue, that is the way fine art prints are signed and numbered, as are the books from Palawan Press. Book No. 1 sold for £29,100 at a charity auction to aid Sir Jackie's Stewart's charity, Race Against Dementia. Only 762 were printed - the Register, and a limited-edition Jota leather edition to come in next month or so. hobnob91 said:
