Those flip paints look hideous, there again I prefer the primer grey to the Orange ones so maybe I am just dull.

Nope it's just that flip paint is completely naff smile

Doesn't Sweden have extortionate luxury car tax too? Nice car, nice to see it being used for road trips too.

Saw Mr. B's P1 and (I assume it was his) 918 line astern heading away from Silverstone area on Thursday evening. No sign of the LaFerrari though.

918 was nice, but the P1, oh my God!

I wanted one before, but having seen one in the wild, I'm saving up! Another 400 years and I'll be able to afford one :-)

I've pulled the memory card from the dashcam, so will have a look at some point to see if there's anything worth sharing on there.

Passed two identical yellow P1s on Thursday driving in convoy not too far from Bisley and saw a black one parked at West London Shooting School last year - odd choice as a shoot wagon but very eye catching

I thought mclaren were at the forefront of carbon tech. Pagani can do a non painted carbon body so don't see why a bigger outfit like mclaren can't

The full carbonfibre bodies are due to arrive near/at the end of production (around now). I know of 4 people with them or order but there will be more.

I have no doubt that they would have been delayed for the reasons above. Pagani have made it an art but I imagine it takes ridiculous levels of skill to make it look just right.

Considering the quality of the weave on the F1 which was 20 years ago you'd expect them to do alright with it now...

Perhaps the reason is more logical and they are not making the exposed carbonfibre bodies (most of which are secondary 'shells') until after every customer has their first 'shell'?

Everyone knows carbon fibre dissolves in the rain, hence the requirement for paint.
