Damn it, I don't live too far from the Knutsford showroom and would have loved to have seen it frown

Lap times around the TG Test track anyone?
Ride along in an unfortunate vertical video, but its all there is so far. Mark timed it at 1:14 - not from a standing start obviously, but there is a passenger so it should all equal out one would imagine.

Jaguar Land Rover weekly have reviewed the P1 now. Sounds like a savage machine in full attack mode. Much as the stats suggest Porsche seem to have judged the 918 wrong. £150000 cheaper doesn't seem all that much when the Porsche, with the almost obligatory weissach package specified, is already £712,000. And frankly who really cares the Porsche scores better on the loophole ridden EU CO2 and fuel consumption tests?

A P1 has had a minor crash in Jersey, just to upset all you P1 lovers.

I do love the P1 but there's no need to cry over any damage unless you have to pay the bill to fix it. McLaren Special Operations have done wonders with damaged F1s over the years so that little P1 mishap is hardly going to set them back. Plus with the car in production, parts (if required) won't be so hard to come by.

Assuming the cornering speeds are 'reasonable', 162mph over Avon Rise must be pushing on to a staggeringly quick lap time around Combe.

Would love to know how it compares to the outright lap record (59ish seconds in an F3)
