Just be happy you're not him. When he wakes up every day, that is the best his day will get. Because you're not the same type as him, your day will get better.

One of the things I like about track days is that everyone shares a passion for cars and you can generally go up and talk to anyone. I often do and find majority of people approachable and happy to engage regardless of what they drive.

It sounds to me like it is just the individual you spoke to - perhaps he was having an "off" day. I dont think it has anything to do with supercar ownership! Dont let if put you off in the future.

Far from it! I let all and sundry have a sit and have their pics taken in mine! UPS delivery driver was in it the other day! I find the hardest thing of super car ownership is getting stuff done, too much talking LOL

That's the spirit, why not.

It's a privilege to be I. A position to have something like this, and it's great to share when possible.

Spot on Ash, it is a privilege to own one! I'll talk to anyone about mine, it's my passion! Maybe the original guy was a BMW dealer, they're "up" themselves finding it difficult to talk to anyone in jeans lol

I have to say that at UK trackdays I have always found good spirits and super friendly people... The LoT days must be amongst the best for this... real gentlemen drivers, respect for the rules, considerate and extremely passionate about their cars...

At Spa with LoT in 2012 a chap brought along his Gallardo Balboni and gave it really a good spank for the delight of everybody and when back into the pits he was happy to talk about the car, noise, behaviour on the limit (& also the useless brake fluid Lambo had used and the chaps of Back on Track were busy changing with a decent one...). That's the spirit.
