This talk of design has returned me to an early design idea I had hoped someone would action on a P1 but has not really happened. I hoped someone would make the 'under-panels' the statement colour and the 'normal' body panels either white, black or grey. One car *kind of* has done this - a grey car int he US with subtle blue-tinted carbonfibre underneath.


Now, on your point, Flemke, it might not be a terrible idea to have had yellow as the over colour with green on some of the 'under' panels (or heavily tinted green carbonfibre) with blue detailing? In my mind it could maybe have worked.

With just the stripe on the side and the green calipers, I'd say it was almost perfect.

• A little caveat here, I still think this interior is nice, so my taste is often very wide of the mark...
