If I were you knowing what I know now I would either fit 15mm spacers or 295 MPSC2 section rears.
I haven't got a proper quote yet but am told the inner arches are circa £350 a side !
Yes £350ish per liner and that is ex vat I'm afraid. ...

10mm spacers may do the job however looks wise the car could do with a wider stance. ........ any idea where we can get spacers ? ...... I was going to try Hills Engineering if I do have to go down that route
About the spacers as mentioned earlier.

5x112, 57.1 center bore are the ones you need it seems, in whichever mm preferred. I believe H&R Audi spacers are available in the exact sizes required.

Personally i am still prepared to try the 305 cup2 as standard based on my usage of the supersports. Will see how that goes in june anyway.

I had a quote on a set of MPSC2 this afternoon, the guy said he quoted for N (Porsche fitment) as they were available both front and rear, whereas Y (Ferrari) are only available in rears.
Do things like N rating really make any odds ? I always thought it was just another of the likes of Porsche ripping you off.
Maybe not. Ford says that the Pilot Super Sports and Cup Sports that the GT350 uses have a bespoke construction and compound compared to the same models off the shelf, and I know Corvette have done something similar too. The trouble is getting any of the tire companies to say anything useful. How the different compounds and construction methods work is fascinating but good luck getting anyone to go on the record about any of it!

Well don't come crying to me etc etc smile ......... Your looking at a £700 gamble

Thanks for that, the spacers would solve most of the rubbing issues but not the rolling radius ones albeit those are minor.

You did and I still don't see how it will make any odds as the rubbage is on the inner face of the sidewall and don't see it as being suspension movement ie compression related, BUT I will run in track mode next time out albeit a bit late now :-)

Hi Mate, I didn't realise that was you otherwise I would have said hello, I was there also, scrapes in sport mode as well if that helps smile
inner arches are marked now so will address over winter I expect.
Fantastic levels of grip available from the cups with no drama.
Did the Pirelli man give you a hard time as to why you chose Michelin ?

Ah, you were in the silver car. Completely forgot you had the red rims so didn't realise it was you too. I came over a bit late and got a half day so was in a bit of a hurry to stick some laps in so didn't get to speak much to those people I didn't already recognise. Always glad to see a fellow 12c as we were a bit lonely yesterday!

Did you get the spacers fitted in the end?

Pirelli guy didn't say very much once i told him the standard corsas were pretty hopeless :-D well apart from saying the new corsa should be a v good tyre. Pirelli were selling trofeos at a super price though but without spacers not even I would be willing to risk it having seen some rear diffusors marked up in the 12c on trofeos previously.

The Corsa is good enough unless you are an F1 star.

Have you actually ever used a corsa tyre on track.....? If you had you would absolutely not say the above i can pretty much guarantee. The cup and trofeo are just way better tyres to use on track.

Hi, no didn't fit spacers in the end as i just left the inner arches as they were, figured they need replacing so will address problem at the end of the year, will know tomorrow if any further damage done when I swap back to road tyres.
Was a great day and no complaints regarding cup2.

Any of you owners of 570S can give me guidance in terms of pro and cons of standard P-Zero vs P-Zero Corsa? Usability on road and occasional use on track important to me.

Heard of very good things about Michelin PSC2 on GT3....not sure about PZero on 570S

I did 5, 500 miles in 540 on standard p-zero - was decent all round road tyre

Then around 700 miles in 570 on corsa - stuck like glue when warm ambient and dry roads, I found them terrifying at any other time when pushing on, found it v hard to keep at working temp. Remember dash tyre selector menu needs changing to correspond to tyre choice, and selecting corsa raises green tyre threshold to around 25 deg vs 17 deg (ish?) for standard p-zero

Swapped to Michelin PS4S and after nearly 4000 miles and is night and day difference, really are the latest tech and car grips and goes in all weathers, and vastly superior. Read about the tech here: https://www.michelin.co.uk/tyres/michelin-pilot-sp...

Never tracked mine as yet, tho the track and racer types say PS4S are good on track too. Cup 2 even better I imagine?

Yep cup2s are definitely better on track, especially under braking imo as the firmer sidewall of the tyre holds up better and overall you just get more feel from the car I think anyway.

Yes, stock sizes, and no issues with rubbing

Are the Michelin PSC2 approved by Manufacturer or do you lose warranty?

Hi, nice to see my thread rejuvenated

They can only cancel warranty if they can prove that the non standard part or parts were the cause of the failure.

i.e if the car has an after market exhaust, you can't not fix the iris system for example, however if the cats burn out or motor blows up due to back pressure issues then your in trouble.

So is any one running cup 2’s on a 570/540 series car ? If so are you running 285/35 R20 104Y rear fitment with 235/35 R19 91Y front fitment.

I have toyed with the idea of also going with a 295/30 R20 101Y XL N0 fitment on the rear to match the slightly wider front fitment.

Not worried about warranty because I would just swap them back to standard if it had to go in for any warranty work, that assuming they would notice in the first place.

Thanks for any help.
