Anyone else think that the 12c could be a little noisier? even with sports exhaust.

I have heard vids of it with cat delete but wonder how relaxed Mclaren warranty are?

Has anyone UK owners gone further than the sports exhaust?

Hi, only aftermarket systems I know of are Akropovic in the classifieds, Larini, and also Thorney Motorsport make a system.
Annoying how they have suddenly sorted the pops and bangs for the 675 ....

more noisy inside the car or out ?

if in, get a spyder, the little window that drops down at the back is the best "exhaust sound enhancer" around biggrin

Yeah those pops and bangs sound awesome on the 675LT. If only someone could replicate that for the 650S.
Sports exhaust on 650S is louder and more vocal than the 12C and probably the best sounding turbo car bar 675LT but its nowhere near a V10 Lamborghini Performante or V8 430 Scuderia.

I am told it can be done easily enough via mapping the fuel and ignition cuts ...... except McLaren wont give out the access codes to the magic box :-(

worth a call maybe ?

Never understood why McLaren didn't go down the Zonda route and have upgrades available, ie drive in a 12c that comes out as a 650 or even 675, I guess the costs but you could opt for just the engine or body package

Because they make (a lot) more profit from selling you a new car.

12C got 3 FOC upgrades. Not suggesting the popping and banging upgrade should be FOC as I would be prepared to pay extra for it
