With respect, would be obvious SS wouldn't have 650's punch and ride?
I agree Mac could have tarted 540 up a bit more, but is driven by both inter-series and brand hierarchy as you know. As chap above posted, you can upgrade for £££.

A friend got his Orange 570s last year and has already put nearly 12k on the clock since (3-4k in europe mountains etc) says its the best thing he's ever bought - he came from a 997.2 C2S PDK before...

But then you could get a DMS tune on a 650S as well.
DMS also want £5k not just a couple of grand

Price difference between 540 and 570 is £17K though so still a cheap way to get a significant power increase.

yes you can retune 650 to 720 but thats not the point I'm making here...
