Imported car as well if I recall correctly
I think the LHD configuration is a giveaway on that.I wonder why it's not being sold on the continent where it would appeal to a much wider market?
Mine is LHD but U.K. registered from new. Car has known provenance and history. Ascot have sold quite a few LHDs (and promptly) but they are McLarens cars so known quantities (and generally specced to the gunwhales )
So no, not every LHD is an import.

^ this. Some LHD cars that are UK registered were ex McLaren press cars but one can also order a LHD car easily enough if you wanted. if I ended up ordering a P14 I would ask to have it LHD as I increasingly do the majority of my miles of 'fun' driving in Europe.Mine is LHD but U.K. registered from new. I still would think that they would command a higher price being sold though an agent on the continent at a premium rather than in the UK at a discount.

It was slightly tongue in cheek, more based on the advert saying it was first registered in Holland. No offence meant.

No offence taken. Wasn't sure if it was tongue in cheek or a general misconception that all LHDs are imports. I still would think that they would command a higher price being sold though an agent on the continent at a premium rather than in the UK at a discount.
I have previously owned a Ferrari that was also LHD (bought from Tom Hartley as it happens) that was also a uk registered car. The 1st owner bought two identical colour identical spec cars one RHD to drive here at home and one LHD to drive over to the continent. That's how he rolls
I agree regarding selling on the continent for a better return but sometimes I guess the hassle versus the financial reward (and risk?) Just isn't worth it, especially when you've 'fallen' for something else which I guess is why the car is with TH.
