Tracker fob... what do you do?
Discussion
So enjoying the first few days of ownership and one thing that slightly bugs me is the immobiliser fob, it's currently held onto the key ring with an elastic band as there is no hole or lanyard to put it on your keys. In the grand scheme of things it shouldn't bug me, but it does.
Anyone have a neat solution?

No. Great in theory but not practical in reality.
If someone wants the cars badly enough they will break into the house or bash me over the head and get both key and card anyway.
Its a bit of a silly system really
My lambo isn't insured if they find out the fob is attached to the key. You are meant to keep them separate at all times. If someone wants the cars badly enough they will break into the house or bash me over the head and get both key and card anyway.

Keep mine in a zip pocket in my wallet.
I drove it off the drive a couple of weeks ago forgetting my wallet and was quite surprised they didn't ring me as they normally do. So later on I phoned the tracker company just to check it was working.
"Your subscription was cancelled 6 months ago sir"
"WHAT??"
An admin error of some sort.
Pretty sobering to think that if the car had been nicked during that period I wouldn't have got a penny!

Did you have the renewal paperwork from Cobra ? If you had renewed and it was an error their end I'm sure you would of been covered.I drove it off the drive a couple of weeks ago forgetting my wallet and was quite surprised they didn't ring me as they normally do. I quite often set it off accidently if it locked up and I'm polishing it. They phone within seconds of it going off usually

Vodafone ( previously Cobra ) 01282 473799 or 03333 2220799Why not set off the alarm and do a dummy test. I usually do this accidently with my polishing towel flicking over the sensor on the windscreen up by the rear view mirror.
See how quick they phone you
