Assuming you're on PH (or someone on here knows them)... nice cars but to Mr Orange in particular please don't try any more banzai overtaking manoeuvres then cut into traffic when you run out of road. smile My collision avoidance kicked in and I nearly rear ended you.

Trying to overtake a train of 5 cars following a motorhome on a bend and then chopping into the middle of the train of cars when someone comes round the bend in the opposite direction is not particularly clever.

If I had hit you it would not have been my fault as you did not have clear road to complete the overtake and cut into my breaking zone.

The irony is half a mile after the incident both cars were parked up and we all drove past.

I was in the white Alfa Guilia with Belgian plates (rental car) just north of Gap heading north @ about 17:00 BTW.

White and orange MC12s? I'm guessing as we're in the McLaren section you mean 12C's?

This is an MC12:

Why didn't you take the opportunity to stop, get out and confront face to face rather than having a limp rant on here....pussy

Great contribution. Maybe there was no option to stop safely, maybe he had a child onboard, maybe he's 5ft tall with a nervous disposition. McL driver sounds like a teacup if he was overtaking on a bend, which is what every other driver in that queue thought I expect.

All of the replies above and because I've got better things to do with my time and was already late.

Besides it wasn't a rant - it was constructive criticism. I was politely pointing out that it was a pretty risky manoeuvre which hadn't gone unnoticed. I'm as up for anyone else on PH for a good thrash over the Route Napoleon. Especially in a McLaren or other supercar. I did it several times when I had my 360 and 575. Awesome road. I just prefer not to run other people off the road doing it.

You seem to be the one having a rant by throwing insults around. I didn't use insults in my OP.

Maybe he sensibly didn't need a potentially "confrontational" discussion ??

Yes we all get it wrong, sometimes ... this time everybody stayed lucky ... thank goodness.
