117 Cars booked in at present, leaving three remaining spaces if anyone wants to join us for this special tribute to Bruce McLaren.

Dedicated McLaren display and social area, track parade lead by Amanda McLaren and a fantastic racing programme throughout the day.

^ Probably a long shot, but it might be worth hitting up MrJWW on the socials and see if he can put you in touch with the Macca F1 owner who recently did a Euro tour with him on his YouTube channel. Looks like the kind of owner who would be up for this type of thing.

We are going to have an attempt at setting a Guinness World Record for the largest convoy of McLarens during our track parade to give our Japanese cousins something to think about. Some technical conditions to be met, but very achievable.

With over 120 cars confirmed plus Amanda McLaren leading the way around Silverstone for our tribute to Bruce's 80th year, we are literally at our limit for space!

This was what 70 cars looked like at Fuji last year which sparked off our event....

The day was a great success. 127 McLarens turned up and Amanda McLaren lead the parade in a 720S alongside a P1. Expect many photos and videos to be on line soon. The Guinness Record needs to be verified and this will take time but unofficially it was the largest gathering of McLarens in the world, easily bettering the 80 gathered in Japan last year.

It was a great day with several regional convoys including one from the south east with 30 cars that looked amazing taking up all 3 lanes on the M25 & M40, a hog roast, raffles and lots of money raised for the Princess Alice Hospice which was Bruce & Pat McLaren's favourite charity.

Our next public event will be at the NEC Classic Car Show in November.
