I think there is probably a big difference in willingness to pay a premium between cars you can't order (say a GT3 and obviously mus more so a GT2RS) and cars you just have to wait 12 months for. Most car enthusiasts are happy to bridge the time with their current car / another car bought and sold in that Time period etc, and probably also put a premium on speccing their own car when spending this much money on it.
Very good point, thankyou.

No offence to scousers but for the price of my little olde town house I could probably buy all of Bootle
Even with its tarmac drive you utter peasant rofl

I'm sure others have done there homework on here knowing who you are, I'd bet the tales you tell most likely don't stack up to the information held on line.
if it's of interest, then a quick flick through his old posts tells all wink

You can, but you won't learn much because he craves privacy. CRIMINALS, you know

My thoughts exactly.

For what it's worth Tom and Woppum, thanks for the ownership experiences you did provide. I'll leave this thread to the boys giving their keyboards the thrashing of a lifetime now.

Enjoy!

So Derek is a pseudonym for Charles then?

Must be nice having pubs named after you, I guess...

He is not rich. General rule is that people with money, generally don't talk about much about it. Have you not seen the brookside close he lives in?

I only have one house and £18 in my pocket. #prayforneveryoumind

How does finance work if your constantly flipping/selling cars?

If i had to take an educated guess. I would say that the coastal home is his parents. They would have retired and so therefore would give RamboLambo a cash boost with which to have his dream car with. I would then take another guess and say the 570 is either on the never, never or he has remortgaged his town house to buy it. Either way:

1) Minimal posts in any other section (house/food/watches/boats)
2) I believe he has a little one, so i would guess that you need a RRS/Aston Martin or something similar
3) Keeps telling us what he has next lined up, but nothing shown
4) Seems to be a working man. Do salaries go that high?
5) Again not seen many people throwing around how rich they are even with some of the owners owning multiple cars over multiple brands
6) Does not track his car or has a track toy (rich people seem to)

Another win for Pistonheads - the source of entertainment that keeps on giving - who needs reality tv ....

Been fun guys and girls. I'll let it descend into more crass warblings & thinly veiled financial boasts from our resident brookside billionaire bellend.
As a parting comment - to anyone getting a 720S, enjoy it. It is one HELL of a car, simply astonishing, and I'm sure I will live to regret having to shovel it on in such rushed disorganised circumstances. Look forward to seeing some pics of all your deliveries and possibly some in the flesh at various car meet ups.
well done mate leaving this vulgar thread a wise move. you are welcome to drive my next one when it comes and see what its like back to back with the lambo... just dont scratch the paint! wink

My 720S is in transit to the dealer right now and I was looking forward to chatting about it on this area in PH. But reading through this thread shows that's pointless if we carry on like this. 3 or 4 people that should know better being total bellends and no doubt putting a whole load of people off getting involved.

So, this thread stops here and any others that go the same way will end up with the protagonists leaving here or PH permanently.

Stop being tools, the brand doesn't deserve that.

Got it? Good smile
