This is a great video from Chris Harris as I think it really captures what is really great about the sports series cars. Its well worth a watch:

Thanks for posting.

Great video and high praise indeed for the GT. I preferred the 570S up to that video - it would have to be the GT now, or the Spider smile

The thing I don't agree with on the GT is that it's better for being softer. The 570s is hardly rock-hard and I can't see how making it less sporting makes it a better sports series. The looks are subjective as is the extra practicality.

For me, the 570s spider is now the best sports series, followed by the 570s, then the GT

Must admit I love the 570 GT looks above the 570S and for me a 570 GTS or track spec GT would be ideal spec

I love the rear hatch of the GT...................but I had a GT for two months and didn't open the rear window access once.......forgot the glass rood was there and started to get a little bored........the S hits more spots for me and what I want from the car........

They are all great. Currently 1,000 miles into a trip around Europe in my 10 day old 570GT. 1,600 on the clock and faultless so far.

Everything is in the frunk except the green bag of shoes which is on the rear shelf.

Of course it didn't arrive like this after monsoon rain in England...

Wonderful video - and the photos of Targarama's 570 looking extremely practical aren't helping my sense of resolve not to march down to McLaren Ascot to trade in my Porker!

Does anyone know where the Chris Harris video was filmed? Presumably Wakes, given the use of Llandow circuit, but it doesn't look like the usual A4069 Black Mountain road.

I won't tell you I'm averaging 32mpg on this trip so far then? Including the Autobahn and a number of alpine passes? Bloody awesome imo.

Italian Dolomites now, Tuscany tomorrow.

Not sure of the name, cost more but is very good quality leather. I chose black carpets as cream is plain stupid in our climate (see press cars, cream carpets).

The panoramic roof is great too, nice airy interior

That looks superb - good man. Which options have you found to be must haves - which not so much?

Im up at McLaren Birmingham on the 24th for the Spider preview but have to say that imo it's really hard to think of a better "does it all" super
car than the 570GT.
