All you seem to do is look at McLaren prices ???

You must want one BAD. A novel Idea but rather than just constantly live in your dream world why don't you just buy one

“VAT qualifying” is written in the sales pitch. It means that VAT has not been paid on the vehicle yet.

Go get a mental health check up TP321 - you will enjoy life so much more after diagnosis and treatment.

"Vat Qualifying" does not necessarily mean " + VAT". It does, however, mean that VAT is recoverable....

And if it is in fact + VAT, i would be very alarmed that a main dealer is resorting to this in order to make his car appear appealing to the market. Makes you think just how many he has stacked up in the back....

bet i could get a £40k discount on one of these ugly things...laughlaugh

You are splitting hairs.

In the UK when a car is advertised as VAT qualifying it generally means VAT can be claimed back if you meet the requirements and hence the car is quoted without the VAT.

That £205k is a non registered price and a uk private buyer would have to pay an additional 20%.

As I said splitting hairs.

Some dealers quote without VAT and some with when selling a VAT qualifying vehicle.

In the case of the £205k 720s it is bloody obvious (except to TP321) that they have chosen to quote the before VAT is applied price!

Agreed. Even I'd smash the piggy bank for it if it included VAT smile

Who gives a flying fig what the values are? My 650 kicks most road cars in the ass and it's mine. And you know what? I'm so fking rich that I don't care if depreciates 100% tomorrow because I'll still have the better car. People who constantly watch car prices should be driving Volvo.

Anything McLaren and its st and depreciates like a stone according to TP321. Maybe Ferrari have inserted a chip in the empty space

The bottom line is that the main dealer feels that he has to entice the market with a super low price, much lower than anyone else. Which can only mean one thing, that there isn’t much market left for this model. I told you a year ago that this would be no different to the 12c and 650 when it came to residuals or sales discounts.....but some just didn’t listen....whistle
