RL I might be wrong but I think you are very jealous of TGE
He is, bless him. But his inadequacies & insecurities are totally off topic. To the original post; you won't be disappointed by the car itself, (as long as you fiddle with the exhaust IMO).
Watched a video last night of one destroying an F12 TDF, and troubling a Chiron. They are crazy fast.
Is great shame when interesting and relevant Mc threads go off on tangent and spiral downwards with name calling, boasting, posturing, and general keyboard warrior ridiculousness. Understand there are multiple sides to any story however discussing these in civil manner within relevant threads to topic in hand would be great positive to this forum. I think good rule of thumb when posting is don't write things you'd not be prepared to say to others face to face.

So why not Ban Rambo Lambo then - It ALWAYS revolves around him?RamboLambo said:
If he had made money on the 720S, which was always his intention/hope, he would of said it was the best thing since sliced bread. Because he didn't he tries to harm the car and brand. IF he lost money ( and that's a BIG IF ) that's not a reflection on the car or McLaren but the general state of the market at this time especially with a distressed sale because of his incoming AVS. His next flippers seem to be lambo AVS, Huracan Performante and 812 superfast, so expect more incoming bullst
Lets hope he isn't the great "influencer" his own PR dept thinks he is FFS
With the greatest respect, so fking what? Does this effect your life in anyway? Not standing up for tge (never seen any of his stuff) but I am pretty sure we live in a free country where you can do what the hell you want with your own property. Lets hope he isn't the great "influencer" his own PR dept thinks he is FFS
PS
I still don't like the 720. Sorry.

This this a joke right? Or is it code for "the advertising company he works for pays us so we cant" - Look at every thread locked over the past 12 months and you'll see the exact basis your looking for.
I think you need to look more closely at your own contributions to threads before making unsubstantiated accusations. Maybe I shouldn't react to all the provocative trolling I get but I'm not the one making threats and personal abuse with foul language rants. FFS greenhouses and throwing stones comes to mind.If you cant handle some light hearted banter and sarcasm I suggest you stay in kindergarden

I'm not totally sold on the 720S mainly because of its HYPERcar looks. As a piece of technological engineering nothing else gets close. The aero is fantastic and I love the quality of all the components that are not shared with Fiat or Skoda and the performance is mind blowing but its the looksPS
I still don't like the 720. Sorry.
that has stopped me from buying one.
Looks good from the rear and from above but the side and front do not strike me as a pretty car. Maybe its too radical for me but if I won the euro millions tomorrow I wouldn't buy a lot of hypercars because of their looks. My first purchase would be a Ferrari F40

But anyway fk off back to your house that Daddy's Money paid for and do keep up the day Job - As its solely this that allows you to carry on spouting your BS round here.
Just the sort of ridiculous comment I would expect from you. I'm not even sure why you are in this section anyway other than just dreaming. There is a Porsche sports car forum you know so maybe the mods will confine you to there and save us all from your tedious rantings and trolling.
Bye bye or should I say night night as its past 8 o'clock

Anyway getting the thread back on topic, Calling round various McLaren dealers you will find there are a quite a few brand new unregistered cars for sale.
The fact that this is such a new car and there is this level of availability only tells you that by spring they will be offering decent discounts and I think that its not unrealistic to see the same car around the £200 mark.
If I were you OP id hold onto your money till then, Unless that is someone else is paying then why the hell not .

See quote from Ferrari Price Increases thread :
"I am assuming my car which is due April 2018 will be subject to the rise even though I signed the final approval with all the options only a couple of weeks ago and am now waiting for a build date.
I assume I can't cancel the order now?
It's tempting to cancel and buy a 720 or Lambo instead just to stick 2 fingers up at Ferrari. To me 7% is taking the piss. I can afford it but that's not the point."
Maybe this will be a source of more new conquest customers. Like he says he can afford it but at the same time 7% is taking the mickey and could still amount to £30k extra

To be fair its a steep increase, but more than likely to be c£14k on a 488. My dealer has told me option prices are unchanged. I'd have a bit of a whinge about it, but it wouldnt make me throw the toys out of the pram if its what i'd set my heart on. If the global demands there, then it will likely help support used values so you may also get a bit back when you move on in future years?.........."I am assuming my car which is due April 2018 will be subject to the rise even though I signed the final approval with all the options only a couple of weeks ago and am now waiting for a build date.

Is Ferrari upping the price any more a taking the piss exercise than McLaren not supporting prices by not being bothered about keeping cars within the dealer network?
IIRC the 488 was a bit underpriced right from the start anyway. Add the state of the £ and I don't think the increase is that crazy tbh.Gassing Station | McLaren | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
