I have extremely long and fat fingers so don't need the extended paddles wink

Yep, mostly aesthetic only as there are no performance gains with the majority of the carbon add-ons, not that there's anything wrong with an owner wanting to make their car look and feel a little more 'special'. The exception is the extended paddles though, having that extra long blade does genuinely help when driving.
yeah I get that there is a practical use for the pedals, shame that you have to pay so much for them though.
there's nothing wrong with people paying extra to make their car look 'special' but my view of it being stupid will never change.

Agree that Carbon bits are purely dressing. Nothing wrong with that as long as you don't pass it off as otherwise. This particular interior carbon pack makes a huge difference to the interior 'quality feel' IMO. Without this pack there is a black plastic surround for the IRIS and gear control panels which looks cheap.

The longer carbon paddles are a must imo, very tactile!
Expensive at £2500
I know, but you do get the other internal carbon bits as well wink. The standard paddle is just too small imo.
I think the CF pack actually adds weight, as they simply put the CF part on top of normal part .. at least that is what looks like has happened to the extended CF paddles
Surely no one picks any of the CF packs because they are going to save a few grams in weight?? I didn't smile
You will benefit from an overall weight saving, not from the item itself but from your wallet.... laugh
