this is where you are going wrong......

I spent a grand total of about £1,600 on my (our) wedding and about £160k on my McLaren

This is the universal correct ratio biggrin

Absolutely. Retained value:

Wedding = Big fat zero
McLaren = approx 90% of outlay

Thanks! I'm over the moon with it, first sports car that I've owned that drives exactly the way I want it to. Was bit afraid that the sound was going to be poor but with the MSO exhaust it is briliiant. Chose the CanAm over a 488.

Wish I’d gone for one at the time. Not so much the exhaust (I’m not such a sound aficionado) but I love the CF roof and rear exhaust.

The drive is sublime isn’t it? I did the NC500 with 14 other Macs (see my photo above) and the car was amazing - it’s capabilities far ahead of mine but so suited to fast road driving biggrin

It sure is. Yeah all the CF stuff makes it rather special.

What is the NC500? Must have been fantastic with 14 cars!
Is yours the white one on the left?

I will probably take the CanAm to Monaco Classic this year and to Spa.
