I'm about to take delivery of a 12C Spider and have been lurking on this section of the forum for a while now.
It's my first 'really expensive' car so i'd like to ensure that should the worst happen i'm now out of pocket. Does anyone have any suggestions for GAP insurance as i've never taken it before and i assume some policies are better than others?

Can't wait for collection, from what i've read they are EPIC cars!

Get an insurance policy with a guaranteed value and then there is no need for GAP insurance. I’ve used AIB insurance for all my cars.

Don't get the GAP through the dealer, way too expensive.

PH do one that is far more reasonable, but as said above a guaranteed value is the way to go.

Guaranteed value is one option. But many specialist insurers, like AIB, won't maintain or offer any NCB, so you could lose / lapse your NCB if you stick around for more than 1 year.

Admiral + GAP does much the same thing and often works out cheaper and you can maintain any NCB. Someone like Frank Pickles does £50-100k of GAP at fair prices.
