Vast majority of owners appear to avoid PH due to the trolling by a couple of people. You will find the owners (and rapid answers to anything) in the closed owners club.
& how will he do that!? laugh

Yes, McHatfield.

If your that worried before buying it then I really doubt a few people coming on here saying "mines great" is gonna sway you tbh.

Servicing will be 3-3.5k for the 1st 3yrs.
Warranty will be 3k in it's 4th year.
McLaren Hatfield?

If you paid £700 for 3rd year service, how am I supposed to pay £3k in 3 years?

Assuming 'normal' usage, I'd reckon on about £1.5k on average a year for servicing.

Don't get it, it would mean £4.5.

Cmon, is it so difficult, no 570s customers with service history?

Most people on the first service at 10k or 12 months whichever comes first pay in the region of £600 to £700.

The bigger two year service will be in the region of £900 to £1100.

Dealers will do deals with their regulars, you can reduce these number by suppling your own oil, and asking that they do not replace the wiper blades, you can save further money by supplying you own washer fluid additive as well.

I have not seen on any UK forum people with the 5 series car complains about servicing costs,
they are in line with most OPC’s charge for a 911 service.

There will not be many 5 series cars having warranty exstentions yet as first customer deliveries were not until late summer 2015 so they are only just coming up to three years old.

Hope this helps smile

Through official McLaren dealer?

I am really struggling guys, trying to stay neutral, however net is full of complaints and scary things about macca. Depretiation plus Warranty cost don't help.

What's the service cost per year, let's say in the first 4 years?

Btw thanks for the answers, I can almost hear the silence here, desolated place, not lot of people answering...
A lot if it scaremongering. Servicing is on par Witt Aston or ferrari, warranty is considerably CHEAPER than ferrari.

Also you can get comprehensive warranty cover from the likes of thorney and it covers nearly everything for just over 2.5k

My summer 2017 car, service completed this summer with McBrum for £569.

No issues noted with the car.

Not one error message or dash light since owned.

Perfect paint......not a single day spent at the dealership for anything at all.

There are 400+ members of the owners group loving their cars, with most on their 2nd or 3rd McLaren's..........they are great cars!

Old thread bump but hopefully useful info for others.

Called my McLaren service manager today and ended up talking about the service my 650 spider shall be due in October and about the extended warranty expiring then also.

I somehow had it in my head that the service upon turning 5 years old was a rather expensive one...as it turns out it is around £1000...probably less if i really haggle....i am sure i read it somewhere on here it was around £18-1900.00.

Nice surprise.

Regards to extending the warranty.

Last year it was £3650 to extend, and was fully prepared that upon turning 5 the warranty jumps upto £4850.

As it turns out, if i take out the extension the day before it turns 5, it is still the cheaper price of £3650, and if i take out 2 years it it shall be around £7400.

Still expensive, but it goes with the territory i guess and gives peace of mind as the warranty is perhaps the best available by a country mile in comparison to Ferrari and Lambo etc.

Was deliberating over 'self warranting'...gave me food for further thought.

Hope this helps anyone considering buying a 3 or 4yr old Mac as there seems to be a lot of you out there currently considering that.
