Nice

but we all know whom is the real boss, new car pour moi, means new House! for her, Gulp!

soon to be 4 sleeps

Still very excited

Now then how wide does a triple garage need to be?
One single and a wide double, thinking 30 foot or 9m
anyone know if this is correct.
Double door 16foot?
Single 8 foot approx 2.4m

Oh the delicious agony of waiting ..... The sweet anticipation of a new car, gets me every time!

Anyway - I hope you enjoy your new beastie - but on the garage front I'm looking at this too. I have about 10m of exterior width to play with and I'm about to design something similar, but I have two options:
1. Main garage (with home office above) = exterior dimensions of 5m x 6m (i.e. big enough inside to get all round any vehicle for cleaning etc) with 2 bay open carport of 5m x 6m.
2. 3 bay garage with internal dimensions of 3.1m per car space (plus 6m deep).

Some of this will come down to what I can get through planning, but width is very important when your supercar is already over 2m wide and has those doors ...... smile

Can't be long to go now?

When I built my oak frame garage I has the doors 3 mtrs wide, works very well if you have the space as it gives plenty of clearance which ever way you decide to enter.

wow dsl that's really something

Max thanks for the kind words, 2 sleeps left!!!!!

It wasn't easy to find pics or dimensions in uk

American site came back with 30foot wide i.e 1 double door at 16ft and 1 single door at 9 foot
as they expect you to have a boat in USA

Uk 8foot wides (normal doors are classed at 7 foot ) are 2438mm I think?
A double I assume is twice that so 4876 + 2438 then the inbetween and both ends
I think it would need 9m or 8.8m?

too many dimesions and too much maths a little boring
Anyway it will live outside covered for a few months, until we do move.

Very very excited for collection on thurs
smile

That side shows a double bay that is totally open inside, dimensions internally are 5990mm deep by 6225mm wide.

Makes for a very spacious garage.

Yes I am ATC obsessed been into hifi since 15 & home cinema etc

100's , 20-2a's ,scm11's , 11's on walls, and a single Scm45a as centre speaker, now that is a monster, incredibly realistic, important for voice etc the most important speaker for movies
is the centre allegedly they say, I would agree

As you know the brand I assume you know their products too and have some form of Atc's?

I think I'm excited for you!

Anyway, don't worry too much about "standard" sized doors - you can have pretty much what you want when you have what dsl2 has (i.e. wood), they're almost always made to order and so "custom" is pretty straightforward for most manufacturers. A tweak of the CAD plans and Bob is your uncle .....
I've also been looking at metal and insulation filled composite doors that are electric and these guys make a beautifully engineered and german designed range that come in a mind boggling range of sizes:

Nice. I have passive 40s. Not sure I could get anything much bigger past the Mrs. 50s, maybe!

Outnumbered

I went to the factory last year for new tweeters in the 100's.

Listened to various models and seriously If i didn't own old 100's

I would have purchased active 40's the very best value in the range

Ok it's getting serious now, some sleep last night.

Only 1 night left to go so clearly dreading the fact I will be restless to say the least
tonight

So train from Wakey to Kings X then I have to negotiate the Tube
(not easy for us northern numpties whom hate the whole concept of London)
Then Waterloo to Ascot station, a few steps acoss the road then BOOM!

Mid to late morning she will be mine!eek
