I was talking to a prestige car dealer the other week. He knows someone that got 40K off a brand new 720s.

You do know the broader car market has taken a distinct downward turn over the last few months? Large discounts are clearly available or are you going to bury your head in he sand and say they aren’t?

And just as clearly the chances of someone getting a near £50k discount on a car that McLaren are struggling to find full demand for has got to be orders of magnitude higher than a lottery win or you leaving your state of denial

I just can't see a brand new 250k spec car being sold for 200k. If true, point me in the right direction & I'm in.
I've spoken to a few dealers recently & can't get anywhere close to that!

Neither could I !...........in May there was only one new car available and I didn't like the spec, why do people think dealers have a £50/60k spread across cars ?

I have a new RS .... done a few k miles and a few track days ( not a real fan of them but great to have mate time ) , having been in a 675 Lt and driven a 720S , they are simply in another league on track.... but have been a Porsche fan boy for too long

Dealers don’t have that spread but they do have the phone number of their regional Mclaren Manager who is happy to discuss selling cars!!!

He once said that he inherited so much money that he never need work again. But he now denies ever saying that and has no doubt deleted it..
